Russell Armstrong
, the estranged husband of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Taylor Armstrong, was found dead of an apparent suicide ... sources tell TMZ.

Our sources say Armstrong hanged himself. He was found hanging in his bedroom on Mulholland Drive.

We're told L.A. City Fire Department arrived at his home and pronounced him dead at 8:16 PM Monday. Sources say a roommate found Russell and called 911.

@patty0896 - IF you are a layer married to a doctor - then I feel even more sorry for you...because you have ZERO compassion for other people. You CLAIM you have so much, yet you are kicking those that are down - someone you know thru the screen of your TV. SAD, SAD, SAD for YOU!!

Take Five

I don't know what problems does he had. Only know that he was living in house that 99.99% of world population will never see or have.

I think that is the saddest part of this story.

He had so much and yet i guess so little... Irony...

Poor Guy Kiiled himself over a Women / Divorce pretty sad,
There is always one party of of the Two of whom is emotionally devestated upon a divorce / separation. One just has to have the strength to move on with the jouney, and seek True Love again , if desired. In these challenging economic times , and Lack of (Ethics) and moral values , I am affraid will see more of this tpye of action existing in our society

That British hag Lisa VanderPimp-Todd probably hung him and made it look like a suicide.

Since the divorce wasn't final, she actually "inherits" all his debt as his wife. So much for the Beverly Hill Housewife now... she is now a K-Mart Shopper. Life insurance in most instances, has a "suicide clause" so they may not have to pay. The one that will truly suffer is the little girl he left behind. She f'd up just for fame and sympathy... how sad for all involved.

We need to stop these "reality" TV shows. They are destroying people's lives.

Been there

When a man is accused of any abuse it is basically all over. Regardless of the accuracy of the the WOMAN's story, all (Police, social workers, DA, civil divorce/family court, women in positions of power at liberal work places) make ASSUMPTIONS about the man and believe the woman. Most women have very little accountability for what comes out of their mouths they can verbally, mentally and emotionally abuse with out consequences. Women's lawyers encourage them to make wild exaggerated claims for bargaining power, destroying lives. The lawyers should be held accountable as well.

I can only imagine the pressure he must have been under to feel that the only way out was to end his life. I will keep his family in my prayers. Rest in peace. (To "Nikki": one uses the verb "hanged" when referring to people and "hung" when referring to objects. TMZ is correct.)

Taylor Armstrong looks as phony as can be. Look at that superficial smile! She was probably so wrapped up in herself (you can tell that just by looking at her pics), that the poor guy felt frustrated and alone. Maybe she decided to blackmail him to assure herself financial support upon the finalization of their divorce.

Bravo TV is exploiting people on their stupid "reality series" with large sums of money, at what point do their moral values come into play?
How many of the "REAL HOUSEWIVES" are just that anymore,Housewives?
Most of them have divorced during their series or were never married in the first place. You show how their marriages fall apart, how they fall into financial ruin and don't think this is going to have a negative impact on those involved . Get real, you need to distance Bravo and the rest of the Reality series from the public. This man was humiliated to the point of taking his own life. His wife is just as guilty as Bravo.
