Shanna Moakler is doing her best dainty beauty queen "goodbye" wave to California ... and taking her talents to The Silver State ... to take a new gig with the Miss Nevada USA organization.
Shanna has been a MAJOR factor behind the scenes with the Miss California pageant -- and was credited with helping Miss California USA Alyssa Campanella take the Miss USA title in 2011.
But sources tell us she's looking for a new challenge and feels Nevada is the perfect fit.
We're told Shanna is looking forward to taking Nevada's competition "to the next level" -- hoping to deliver a Miss USA to a state that has NEVER had one before.

California has something like 10X the population of Nevada. So she's going to have a smaller pool of potential contestants to deal with.

I think the real reason why she is leaving California is because the Miss California Organization fired her ass. She should contact Vivid Entertainment for her next career move instead of going to Nevada.

Good for her. JOKING. Beauty pageants are a thing of the past -- viewership is down, etc., etc., etc. If she was bright, which I doubt, she'd find something else to do with her life. Shanna Moakler is a pig that's too lazy to get out of bed and take care of her own kids - and sends them to stay with a relative thats been convicted of child sexual abuse every summer so she doesnt have to get out of bed. Nevada is the perfect place for her - she can do her side work in the brothels. Stupid whore.
