'NCIS' Actor

Arrested for Felony Battery

9/1/2011 8:56 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

090111_david_ex'NCIS' actor David Fisher was arrested earlier today in Los Angeles on suspicion of felony battery ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

According to our sources ... police responded to a 911 call from a neighbor who claimed Fisher choked him out after an argument about laundry turned physical.

We're told the neighbor was hanging towels outside ... when Fisher confronted him about it.

The alleged victim told police Fisher suddenly became violent and choked him -- but he managed to escape Fisher's grasp and called 911.

Cops raced to the scene -- where Fisher was arrested for felony battery. The other man was taken to a nearby hospital.

Fisher was booked and bail was set at $50,000.

Calls to Fisher's rep have not been returned.

Who is this dude? Don't recall him on NCIS, maybe a one shot guest . . .

There is something missing in this story. Was the neighbor hanging laundry on the other guys property? Were the towels stolen from the accused? Were they 'blocking his precious' view? What is the rest of the story?

Would have been helpful, if TMZ had shared what this person's role was on the "NCIS" series. I've watched a significant number of episodes, the majority of them, and I have absolutely NO IDEA as to who this fruit loop is!!!

WTH is the matter with people and who is this guy? TMZ, if you want to report on obscure twits, check up on your buddy Weston Cage. His wife says he's back in rehab.

DF's going to learn a valuable but expensive lesson:

-Avoid a-holes at all costs.

-Especially the ones that bait/lure you into an encounter.

-Cuz a-holes got nuttin' - and they've got nuttin'-to-lose.

You sure he plays on NCIS TMZ? I watch that show all the time and I don't recognize him? Anybody know him from NCIS?

I believe he plays an ex-member of the IRA who was after Prentice (however you spell it) in the episodes detailing her secret past leading up to her faked death. Hes the guy she was terrified was going to kill her.

PRO US

A neighbor of a friend of mine was hanging his towels on a clothesline in the backyard of his home, and naturally, his sister's boyfriend saw that, and got angry, and took his circular saw and cut off his arms and legs. I know that might have seemed a little extreme, but what is anyone supposed to do when someone hangs laundry outdoors? Just let it go? Do that and the next thing you know, other people are hanging clothes outdoors and the whole situation gets out of control. People have to have some common sense. Don't hang laundry outdoors and we won't have to find someone to help amputate your limbs, gouge out your eyes or pee on your petunias.

This has been a joke, people. Anyone who hangs laundry outdoors should not be harmed in any way. They should just be reported to the police, arrested by the police and sent to jail for 20-30 years.

That's a joke, people.

People who hang laundry outdoors should only be fined by municipal governments and their pictures published in the newspapers as undesirables.

That is a joke, people.

People who hang laundry outdoors are probably too poor to afford washing machines and dryers and so should be given cheques by President Obama to buy washing machines and dryers and to pay for the electricity to run them.

This is a joke, people.

People who hang laundry out in public should be tolerated and celebrated. Their neighbors should buy them chocolate cake and balloons.

I am having a nervous breakdown. No, you're not. Yes, I am.

I ordered pepperoni pizza not mushroom. This will not end well. Yes it will. No, it won't.

Wax on. Wax off.
