'X-Factor' vs. 'American Idol': Who'd You Rather?

The X-Factor hosts/judges do seem a lot more glamorous...

X Factor with Charyl Cole would have beaten American Idol so fast in terms of ratings as she was fresh, beautiful, witty and interesting. with boring Nicole it's gonna be a slow long ride. Nicole is no JLO Simon.

Major fail on J-Lo's cellulite peeking out under her dress. When a woman of J-Lo's advanced age, with cellulite, wears short skirts, maybe she should reconsider that choice.

X Factor. AI has over-stayed its welcome, hasn't pruduced a bonafide star in ages, and I really hate Steve Tyler and Jennifer Lopez

They are the exact same show!

Switch LA Reid & Paula with Randy and JLo and I'd watch American Idol over X Factor! Don't like the loud chaotic vibe of X Factor, but also am not happy with Idol's judges as they are.

X Factor is fine replacement for AI. Main reason there is NO Randy Jackson. RJ is not worth his salary judging anyone plus trying to be a Simon with his off the wall comments.

How 'bout 3. The Voice!

Switch out Stephen Tyler for Simon and Jlo for Paula and Dude for Seacrest and Ill take American idol

-My problem with AI is that Steven Tyler is not stressed.

-He's almost like an after-thought.

-When in fact he's in the conversation as being the greatest performer of all-time.

We don't hear enough FROM him - and it's almost as if he has to take a back seat on AI and to Jennifer Lopez.

-Which I find odd and peculiar.

My problem with X-Factor is that they're not playing to win.

Rather, X-Factor is playing not to lose.

For all of his braggadacio and swag -

Simon Cowell has shot himself and in the foot.

X-Factor simply does not deliver anything new or special.

Both shows suck, with the minimal exception of a few talented people these shows usually manages to turn out nothing but a bunch of talent less hacks who infect us with their crappy music.Mass producing "idols" only muddies up the talent pool and should be abolished.

Simon should join the ranks of the sharp-dressed men by ditching the shades and donning a tie.

I have to admit, that Paula looks significantly improved and "refreshed" compared to the past handful of years. She's fit, looks nice, and after watching just a few minutes of the "auditions" for X Factor, seems to be sober and not abusing the pain narcotics. NICE!!!
