Michael Jackson's Son Prince

I'll Testify ...

With Strings Attached

Michael Jackson
's eldest son Prince -- an eyewitness to the horrific scene in the bedroom where his father lost his life -- does not want to testify in the Conrad Murray trial, but he's telling family he'll do what needs to be done to get justice for his departed dad.

Sources close to Prince tell TMZ ... the 14-year-old is "nervous" and worried that if he's called to the stand he might get flustered and "mess up."

We're told if Prince is called by prosecutors ... Katherine will ask her lawyers to request that the entire courtroom be cleared during his testimony.  Judge Michael Pastor almost certainly will prohibit the media from training a camera on Prince, but it's unlikely he'll clear the courtroom.

As we previously reported, Prince is on the prosecution's witness list, since Dr. Murray summoned Prince to the bedroom for help during the emergency.  When Prince arrived, he dissolved into tears.

The trial starts today.  We'll be livestreaming opening statements.

The only thing I want to hear is the verdict. Unless they uncover some evidence that is earth ****tering I will not be listening to this trial or commenting on it.

Thank goodness Murray was stupid enough to call Prince to witness him killing his father.

No child should have to witness that.

God Bless you Prince.
This ordeal must be horrible... Murray had the cruelty to call in Prince to the bedroom to witness his dad lying dead in the bedroom. Why expose a young kid to this? Smh.
Anyway, Prince is a strong and well-mannered boy. Whatever happens in the end, Im sure he will do just fine.

Although his testimony might be crucial to the case, he shouldn't have to go through that all over again, plus hes already "nervous". He wasn't in the room or see Murray inject anything so just let the prosecutors do their job. But we know how good these prosecutors are these days, ask Casey Anthony.

Michael did a great job with his children. They are very well mannered and intelligent. He was proud of his children. And for Prince to have to see his father dying, was a horrible and traumatic experience. Murray was not only unethical in the care of Michael Jackson, he also disrespected Michael's son.

The boy should be able to testify if he wants to. It may bring him some closure.
I'm sure the judge will ensure he is not intimidated by the prosecution.

All he has to do is tell the truth.

What I Think

It might be better he stay off of the stand. If possible. I'm sure the Jackson's would prefer he say what he has to say and not get cross examined on it but that is just not going to happen.

It's sad that Prince saw his father die but Conrad Murry is not all to blame Micheal did this to himself and would have got the drugs someplace else.

Chely:
It was PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION.
If Murray refused to provide it, Michael could not have obtained it by himself.
Is Michael to blame just because he ASKED for the meds?
Obviously not.
