History Channel Super-Car

The Charred Remains

10/8/2011 12:20 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

1004_pawn_stars_hot_rod_launch_EX_v2It was destroyed in a blazing inferno last week -- and now TMZ has obtained pictures of its smoldering remains ... the History Channel's famous cherry '57 Chevy.

TMZ broke the story ... the car -- which became the centerpiece in a massive three-show special involving "American Pickers," "American Restoration," and "Pawn Stars" -- burst into flames last Friday.

But thankfully, these guys are pros -- and as we previously reported, they had the car completely repaired in a few hours.

That's what happens when you have guys who restore vending machines restore your whip.

Typical BS hyperbole from TMZ. It was NOT "destroyed"! sheesh . . . You already reported that the guy fixed it in a very short amount of time.

um I'm confused, how is something "destroyed" and then repaired in a few hours?

Should have had the Count restore it in the first place.

Doesn't look like a 57, more like a 55-56 Chevy, which is worth considerably less.

I wonder if the C**t, I mean Count had his hand in this at all. I haven't seen one single car he's done that looked better after he was done. Kind of a Jessie james wanna be but with no taste or talent. He just works cheap for the Pawn guys.
