Heavy D

Over 300 Pounds When He Died,

Autopsy Set for Today

11/9/2011 7:45 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

1108_heavy_d_EX_08
Heavy D weighed 344 pounds at the time of his death yesterday ... law enforcement tells TMZ.

Officials recorded Heavy's height and weight as part of their investigation into his sudden and unexpected passing. We're told the rapper measured in at 6'4".

Heavy famously lost 135 pounds back in 2003 -- but insisted the decision to drop the weight was in an effort to get acting roles ... and wasn't health related.

An autopsy is scheduled to begin this morning.

TMZ broke the story ... Heavy D died yesterday after collapsing outside of his Beverly Hills condo.

I don't know about everyone else but I would put a full investagation at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. They said that Heavy was conscious and talking to paramedics on his trip to the hospital but then died thier a hour later.(Humm?) It seems like a lot of celebraties that go to that hospital alive, end-up leaving dead

It's good to see how much ignorance is still in America, If you don't have anything nice to say keep it to yourself, reguardless of Heavy D's weight he was a good person and very talented. Don't be mad at his success. But it takes all kinds of nuts to make the world. Rest in Paradise Heavy D Your a legend and you will live on through your music.

They were showing a clip of him on KTLA today that was made around 5 years ago and he looked to be in good shape. He couldn't have been more than 200lbs or so. Too bad he let himself go.

There is no way in hell he weighed that much. He just performed on the 2011 BET Awards and the MJ Tribute Conference in Wales and he looked no where near 300 some pounds. And regardless we just lost a true talent...a rapper that didn't have to disrespect women to sell records. RIP Heavy D.

Ok first off, I want to offer my condolences to the the family of this wonderful human being and I'd like to thank TMZ for running this story. Now, I've known Mr. Meyers for for many years. For those of you who didn't even know who he was look it up! He was a humanitarian he loved people and he was a complete delite to all those around him. Now if you choose to post ignorant remarks about his weight and what he died from perphaps you should consider how his family and people who loved him would feel if they read your insults. As private as your life may be, when you loose someone YOU love, someone should attack your loved one verbally on a site such as this and maybe you'll understand how it feels. Try to be a human being and not a jerk, as hard as it may seem for you ignorant people making rude comments to understand, this was someone's child, someone's brother, someone's father, someone's husband and someone's friend. So before you post a vile comment about someone's death, use what little brain you have left and think about being a human being for once. Nuff Said.. Nuttin But Love for you Heavy RIP

Shamefulmedia

I read of Heavy D's death on respected media outlets like ABC and CNN, predominately White media, and he was portrayed in a positive light in 100 consecutive blogs as well as the article covering his death. It's Sad media outlets closest to the hip hop community tear our hip hop icons down. If you love hip hop, boycott this garbage!!!!!!!
