'Workaholics' Star Fractured Spine After Roof-Jumping Stunt ... On Tape

Blake Anderson
Blake Anderson -- the frizzy-haired guy on "Workaholics" -- fractured his spine Saturday night ... jumping off his roof onto a beer pong table ... and the incredibly stupid stunt was all caught on tape.

Sources close to the actor tell us, he's currently undergoing surgery to treat the fracture -- and fix whatever else he messed up. Needless to say, he'll be out of commission for a few months.

Blake was throwing a party at his L.A. house when the accident went down -- attended by Tyler the Creator and members of his rap crew. We're told cops shut the entire thing down not long after the roof-jumping.

The lesson here kids ... DON'T JUMP OFF YOUR ROOF!!!!!!!

It's not unlike something his character would do on the show. Bet you wish you used a stunt-double now, huh Blake?

the problem is when he jumped he went flat on his back and the center of his back/spine landed on the metal legs part of the table and not the center. So instead of a cushioned landing he landed right on top of the legs and this is where the injury happened. If he can walk again he is very lucky.

Fractured Spine = Wheel chair for life, right? TMZ either got the diagnosis of his injury wrong, or this kid is going to relive this stunt every-time his nurse lowers him into a wheelchair..

This is weird on so many levels. I don't understand why this guy felt like he had to jump off the roof of his house in the first place. I'm sure it was partly alcohol induced but hopefully there were no drugs involved & hopefully it wasn't to be cool & impress anybody. Whats also strange is that the people at the party were encouraging it. Some friends. Now hes forever know as that guy from that sitcom who jumped off his roof that one time.

TMZ: If someone JUMPS off a roof then it is NOT an accident.
