Beyonce's Hospital Room

Like a 5-Star Hotel [PICS]

1/12/2012 1:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Beyonces hospital room where she birthed Blue IvyLenox Hill Hospital constructed a suite for VIPs which looks like a Four Seasons penthouse ... and the room was christened Saturday when Beyonce gave birth.

TMZ has obtained photos of the room where Blue Ivy came into this world, and it's baller. There are 4 flat screen TV's, state of the art electronics, a kitchenette, nice art, mahogany walls and plush furnishings. And take a look at the bed where Jay Z got some shut eye!

Sources connected with the hospital tell TMZ ... the suite was not constructed specifically for Beyonce, but it was always intended that Beyonce would be the first patient to use it.

Only spiritually bankrupt people think money is entitlement. Blocking parent from seeing their newborns, some with critical health problems, because you have ZEROES after your name is pathetic. JayZ used his daughter to pimp his irrelevent career.

fargin bullchit!, I hate beyonce and Jay Z, gotta rub their luxury in everyone's faces, mean while their target audience are underage innercity girls who have babies in a ward designated to welfare women, yes people their are levels of care in hospitals even with precious babies, the more money you have the better care you get down to the comfort for your families, makes me sick!!

Honestly, this room is nice, but its not that over- the -top... Many labor/delivery rooms are nice... This is no big-deal at all.

Of course the rich and famous get better treatment in hospitals just like they do in jail. If Jane Doe was waiting in the ER for 4 hours with half her finger cut off and Mrs Beyonce waltzed in with a tummy ache who do you think would be taken in first? Let me tell you its not the person with half a finger thats for sure!

how do these trashy people sleep at night when they waste this kind of money on a dumb kid...we have starving children, people who have no food to eat,no roof over their heads and sleep in the cold,,we have kids that never see a docotr or dentist...ohh the humanity...

All hospitals have Birthing Suites...this looks no different from the Birthing Suite, I had my son in 4 years ago...and I am certainly not rich. I commented to his dad when we were delivering, how it looked like a Hotel Room. It had a Bose surround sound stereo, a flat screen tv, a video game hooked up to the tv, books, a nice big comfy bed, a comfy place for the dad-to-be to rest, a jacuzzi tub, nice furniture, and other amenities, like being able to order "room service". So Becyonce's "luxury" is really not anything new in hospitals, most hospitals have these rooms, and most health insurance companies will pay for a birthing suite. I wish people would get off of her back and let her enjoy her baby, give it a rest!

F*CK their 'overprivileged' asses!
-
They kept other parents from their own newborns - who were in intensive care!
-
There is NO excuse for that - and NOBODY has that right. They are NOT 'better' than ANYONE ELSE and money does NOT change that!
-
I say again - F*CK THEM!

What about the other patients at the hospital? They were denied access to their babies and their visitors were turned away. Is the hospital going to comp their bills?

Ridiculous amount of watermarks on the pictures, you could hardly see it through them all.

As far as, "keeping parents from their babies", this has been investigated by higher authorities, and was found to be "NOT TRUE". This guy that is doing all of this "press" with the twins, never went to the hospital officials with his claim of "unfair treatment" and he still has not, he even admitted on CNN that he NEVER went to hospital officials, he has only went to the media...why? For money...and that is sickening to me! If he was so outraged, why didn't he complain to the hospital, instead, he went to the first media camera he saw.

Navell, you stated how well you and your husband were treated and the suite you had and sure with insurance that's what you get if you are lucky and your insurance allows it, but with out it you are considered a number, get in, get on with it, get out, that's the way you are treated. Beyonce and Jay Z's target audience most likely are on welfare, call it racist but I doubt they are in the position to walk in and have what these two ppl had, that's why its sickening to see that they are treated better then people doing the same thing because of income level and what they can pay, its a room that looks better, its made to bring in the rich and leave out the poor, how much more money could it of possibly been other then housekeeping spending more time cleaning, its blatent spit in the face of everyone else insurance or not, a ploy to only cater to those with money, sad and it's bullchit,

Nice room, but far from 5 Star. In any event, if they can afford it, I have no problem with it. The only thing that I have a problem with is other patients being denied access to their new borns or any public portion of the hospital in favor of Beyonce and baby.
