Jennifer Aniston

Buys SICKEST Mansion Ever!!!

1/24/2012 12:03 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

0124_aniston_crib_launch_EX_v2Jennifer Aniston is about to become the proud owner of an estate you will never be able to afford ... TMZ has learned.

Sources tells us ... Jennifer has purchased an 8,500 square foot mansion in Bel Air. The asking price was $24 million, but we're told Jennifer got it for a bargain -- only $21 mil.

The Mid Century house has 4 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and unobstructed city and ocean views. The estate is just shy of 2 acres ... and in Bel Air, that's HUGE. And get this ... it even has a vineyard!

Jennifer's realtor is Jade Mills from Coldwell Banker in Bev Hills. Mills is having a good month. She repped Avril Lavigne, who sold her $8.5 million mansion to L.A. Clippers star Chris Paul last week.

We're told Jennifer will officially get the title to her new pad tomorrow.

Just calling this ghastly structure a mansion is an insult to all real mansions. This looks like one of those drive-in-motels where a guy pays by-the-hour to bring hookers in for a short-time quickie.

This house is way too "modern". It lacks the warmth and coziness. I find this house to be very boring and "cold".

Could this place possibly look more impersonal, bland and cold? My garage has a more inviting "vibe" to it than this oversized file cabinet / bread box / dentist's office combo.

When I read the caption for this story, I thought it meant she bought a house infested with mold.
Harvey, stop using slang. You are no good at it. It makes you look retarded

Nice place. She has taste.

It's a totally style specific. Mid-Mod teetered on the boring. But if she did what they did in the reading room all over the house, it would cozy it up but keep the 50's feel.
But to TMZ-ize this post: she's a terrible actress, was only good on Friends & seems like an obnoxious chick to hang out with (that's why she clicked with Chelsea Handler so quick).

Seriously? Another entertainer making millions. Its really becoming quite sickening. What contribution do these entertainers really make to our world to deserve such opulence? I wish our society rewarded people of invention, educators and such. Maybe our world would be in better shape.

Only 4 bedrooms for 24 million dollars? Make it 6 bedrooms and 4 to 5 bathrooms, then it might be worth the money. I hope the rest of the house makes up for it in some way.

I don't know why these rich people have to live in such a milti million dollar homes for. I mean, I would be happy (if I were rich) to live in 1 to 2 million one. The bigger the house, the harder the upkeep on it. More money spent. If I were Jen, I would think of doing something good with the other 20 mil.

Wow is that big, not there are plenty of home owners with twice the size of her place at best. I see an over inflated priced house in a nice place of the country. How do you compare a 30k square foot house to this. Come on TMZ whos is sick

I think Jen Jen and all the over paid super rich Hollywood crowd need to pony up more money in taxes. They have way too much and after all they all support the Liberals so pay up everyone and then you won't have all this cash to buy all the over the top homes ect that you have. You all get paid WAY too much for what you do.

What a bunch of whiners! Yeah, actors get their high paying gigs because one of several things; Their seriously gifted actors, their mediocre actors who have a relation in the business, or their atrocious actors who have a relation in the biz. Regardless, the market is the market. A large part of the population finds value what they produce, so they pay to see the movie, or buy the dvd, etc. Many of the highly paid actors fall into the first group of "seriously talented", and it's a rare comodity. Many complain about sports figures making too much green, but they are rare as well, if they weren't, we'd all be doing it.
That being said, you should've pursued an acting career, but you didn't.
