Whitney Houston

Had Premonition About Death

Whitney Houston told friends she "really wanted to see Jesus" in the days before her death ... and claimed she had a feeling the end was near for her ... this according to several of Whitney's friends.

TMZ has learned ... Whitney had been very spiritual in her final days ... quoting the bible, singing hymns and engaging in intense conversations about Jesus Christ and the afterlife with her close friends and family members.

We're told .... on Friday , one day after she performed, "Yes Jesus Loves Me" at Tru nightclub in Hollywood, Whitney told one of her friends, "I'm gonna go see Jesus ... I want to see Jesus."

The next morning, hours before her death, Whitney was discussing a bible passage involving John the Baptist and Jesus ... when Houston flashed a big smile and remarked, "You know, he's so cool ... I really want to see that Jesus."

Another source tells us ... Whitney had been telling friends she "felt like her time was coming" ... and wanted to make sure she spent her time praising her lord and savior whenever she could.

Unfortunately, Whitney's premonition came true.

We're told the bible passages Whitney was quoting on the morning of her death were Matthew 3:13 through 17 ... referencing the baptism of Jesus. The passage goes:

Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”

Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented.

As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

Dumb woman. If she thought she was going to die, I hope she put her estate in order for Bobbi Kristina. But I'm sure she didn't.

This isnt a exclusive nore is it this u post onhen yobecause a lot of wanything new, TV shows have already been reporting this. TMZ seems like you just make up common sense quasi articles of old info or just stuff that is common sense and then slap exclusive on it. Harbey/TMZ you need to look up the word exclusive because you abuse it.

Words are powerful and we should be careful about what we say and allow our subconscious minds to record. I read that during one of Elvis' hospital stays, he and his girlfriend, Linda Thompson, had been watching the Olympics together in his hospital room. As Elvis and Linda watched Bruce Jennier win one of his Olympic medals, Linda teasingly told Elvis that she was going to marry Bruce Jenner. Elvis said, "Over my dead body." As most of us now know (although younger readers here might not), Linda went on to meet and marry Bruce Jenner after Elvis died.

The quote "I wanna see Jesus" is surefire gospel baptist or bible thumper pretext for the self fulfilling prophecy of suicide. The connotation is unmistakable. So it's safe to say that Houston knew what she was doing and this alleged RX OD was preplanned..."to go see Jesus!" RIP songbird.

Religious people are just plain freaky. What normal person talks and says things like that? And wherever she is, bet she's surprised to find that Jesus wasn't waiting for her!

Religious people are just plain freaky, no normal person talks or acts like that, wanting to see Jesus, give me a break. Wherever she's at, she's gonna be disappointed seeing that he doesn't exist!

Is it just me thinking she comitted suicide? It's common that people who plan to kill themselves talk like that for days before they actually do it.

One of the many side effects of severe drug addiction is suicidal thoughts. Go figure.

Most religions believe in an afterlife, that this mortal life isn't all there is, that you are a spirit in a physical body which will live on after death. It's interesting to read this about Whitney. Maybe she wasn't meant to live to that hundred year mark. Not many of us are. Is there much difference compared to the span of eternity if one lives to 48, 60, 72, 85, 96? What if the days you spend here on this earth are without meaning or value? What if you haven't done what you were sent here to do, or what you could have found to do? Does it matter if you leave early or a few years later?

I don't know anything about premonitions. Maybe she had premonitions of death. Maybe she was weary of life. Maybe she had a yearning for more than she found here on this physical place. Only she knows the answers now.

I believe she and Bobby Brown would have made very good plans to take care of their daughter's future and security, plus she has extended family to care for her. She would be the only heir.
