Rush to Rush Limbaugh

STOP USING OUR MUSIC

... or Else

The '80s have come back to bite Rush Limbaugh in the ass ... Rush (the band) has followed Peter Gabriel's lead and have demanded Limbaugh stop using their music on his radio show ASAP.

Rush (the band) was FURIOUS when they discovered Rush (radio guy) was playing their song "The Spirit of Radio" as he ranted about wanting to see sex tapes of Sandra Fluke. The band got even more upset when they learned it wasn't the first time Rush (radio) has used their music on his show.

The band has since fired off a cease and desist letter to Rush (radio) ... saying, "The public performance of Rush’s music is not licensed for political purposes and any such use is in breach of public performance licenses and constitutes copyright infringement."

The letter continues, "Accordingly, we hereby demand that you immediately stop all use of Rush’s music and confirm that you will do so."

As for Peter Gabriel ... his song, "Sledgehammer" was playing on Rush's radio show when he called Fluke a "slut" ... and, shocker, Peter's pissed too.

Gabriel's rep said the singer has demanded that his music also be pulled from Limbaugh's show.

Good. That big mouth pig is finally getting hit on every level, as he should be. About damn time. I think he needs to be taken off the air altogether. He's losing his mind.

people are so hypocritical....and now Rush are the latest *******s to fall into that category. The media goes absolutely bat**** over Limbaughs words....

(btw, i don't like Limbaugh personally because he's a hypocrite. he was a closet drug addict and yet he belittled those that had drug addictions and THAT is being a hypocrite...so save me the "right wing fruitcake bull****, ok?)

.....an yet someone like Bill Maher can call Sarah Palin a **** and a WHORE and many other revolting names, and ...where's the outrage?

The world is filled with a bunch of 2 faced hypocrites... Thanks Rush, but guess when you're a has-been band from the 70's (I saw them on their 77-78 Rush / UFO tour), you gotta do SOMETHING to get some press.

You have to be an idiot not to realize that the majority of those that actually listen to Rush are those on the left-he only does this stuff because you guys eat it up like a middle schooler who's hook on the Jersey Shore.

Does anyone really care that they pulled their music? Come on, do you really think Rush wanted to see her having sex? It was a joke people! Besides, I am sure the band Rush just wants to be sure that all the "sluts" can get free birth control so they can have sex with them and move on the the next bunch.

What kind of slut needs $3,000 a year for contraception? Why should my money that I made go to her birth control. Go Rush!! (not the band)

Oh you ignorant, ignorant people. You actually believe that the tax payers are footing the bill for this? This is an insurance mandate from the government covering contracetive medication as part of women's overall healthcare. It's not hard to see where political lines are drawn here. Business as usual

You idiots saying that you don't want your tax money paying for a woman's contraceptives are STUPID. Your tax money DOES NOT pay for private insurance! How stupid can you be? Her point was that many women use contraceptives as medication for hormonal issues, acne, all sorts of preventative care. But you go on being stupid and making an a$$ out of yourself. Besides, if insurance pays for Viagra and vasectomies, why does it not cover birth control for women? And without it... how many unintended and unwanted children will be born? MORONS.

I wonder how many Limbaugh fans know that they are paying for his sex-tour excursions to the Dominican Republic? Oh well, but at least the taxpayer doesn't have to buy his Viagra for him... because he gets his maid to buy it. Using fake prescriptions.

The band has a loose argument because Rush's show has NO OFFICIAL political affiliation with the Republican Party. It's ENTERTAINMENT and Rush is a ENTERTAINER. Not to defend Rush but how many entertainers have said something stupid over the decades? He's apologized, let's get over it. It's not important.

In Depth News

Rush Limbaugh has Issued an Apology several times to Left wing activist Sandra Fluke (both online and on the radio). It appears when Bill Maher called Palin the C word , when David Letterman called Palin a slut , when NBC Host called Republican Women Sexist Rants , Etc, That their was No Outcry...Note: Activist Sandra Fluke went on ABC to endorse Billionaire George Soros's Media Matters (Soros fought Against the Allies in world war 2).

Peter Gabriel is FAR LEFT and supports a Organization that Wants George Bush in Jail. Peter Gabriel supports a Far Left Labour Party in the UK , So this Annoucement from Multi Millionaire Peter Gabriel comes as NO SURPRISE....
