Johnny Depp Sued

Over Alleged Concert Attack --

Your Thugs Ripped My Pants Off

EXCLUSIVE

Johnny Depp is being sued by a 52-year-old disabled woman who says she was roughed up and humiliated by the actor's bodyguards during a concert back in December ... claiming Depp's hired muscle beat her up and tore her pants off.

According to the lawsuit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, the woman -- who identifies herself as Jane Doe -- claims she was trying to get to her seat in the V.I.P. area of an Iggy Pop concert when Depp's goons went berserk.

In her suit, Doe -- who claims she's a professor of medicine at UC Irvine -- claims for no reason, Depp's team grabbed her from behind and bear-hugged her, while restraining both of her wrists.

Doe claims the bodyguards went after her cell phone -- which contained highly sensitive confidential medical information about her patients -- and ripped it from her hand "one finger at a time."

Doe claims a member of Depp's squad eventually put her in handcuffs -- and then dragged her on the ground, causing her pants to be removed from her body, "exposing her buttocks to  the other Hollywood Palladium Theater patrons.

Doe claims she suffered severe injuries in the incident -- including a dislocated left elbow, bleeding, swelling, bruising and possibly broken bones.

The woman also claims the incident caused more damage to her pre-existing spondyloarthritis and fibromyalgia -- which affects her joints and back.

Doe is suing for unspecified damages.

TMZ broke the story ... the woman had filed a report with the L.A.P.D. immediately following the incident ... and identified herself as Robin Eckert. Law enforcement sources tell us Eckert appeared intoxicated at the time she made the report.

We're told the case is still under investigation -- but law enforcement sources tell us the alleged victim has been less than cooperative.

So what if she was intoxicated. she was at a concert to have fun. She paid to be there, she's allowed to find her seat without being assaulted by some hired thugs.

Sounds like a marvelous "doctor" keeping confidential patient information on her cellphone that she carries into a rock concert while drunk snd disorderly trying to bother celebrities. Physician: heal thyself.

TMZ, why aren't you going more into this story? The woman wasn't trying to get to her seat, she originally said she was dancing too close to Depp. When she filed the police report, law enforcement said she was "extremely drunk". She keeps changing her story and she's clearly not cooperating with law enforcement.

Celebrities need to get over themselves. You chose to be in the public eye, you make a ssss hit ton of money for doing relatively something of little value to society and if you decide to be out in a public forum, no less a concert where I'm sure tons of people were taking pictures with their phone of IGGY POP, that's on you if your picture gets taken. Grow up and realize that the world doesn't revolve around you and the imaginary spotlight that beams down upon you like God's golden child manifested in your narcissistic mind.

Another opportunist trying to make a buck. Now that she is sober, she has made her story more plausible. Too bad it doesn't sound anything like the original....police report.

If a celebrity feels that they need that much security to attend a concert then they shouldn't even be allowed to attend. It's a hindrance to the rest of the patrons.

Why is this tolerated? Seriously, I'm getting so sick of bodyguards acting like they're protecting the President. Unless someone actually TOUCHES your precious client, they have ZERO right to touch, move, block, divert or in any way harass anyone else. Period. Why don't the courts throw a few of these over-muscled, under-brained bozos into jail for 3-4 years. That would stop it.

rogerwithtigerstripes, if you read the original story, this drunk ass woman was all over JD's table, where he was with his two children. She at the time grabbed him and hung on to him for dear life, not letting go which prompted the body guards to go into action. His daughter was crying, the woman wouldn't let go, drinks were spilled on the children. The man is entitled to go out in public with his family and not be accosted by fans. He knows pictures will be taken of him. If it were me, I wouldn't like some fat slob grabbing me. I know my people would have nailed her too for grabbing me. No one can invade your personal space. Get your facts. And get a better name. tiger strips is so stupid.

...When will the dreads and mere peasants of society realize that when in the presence of Living Gods--- they may in turn be subjected to unceremonious beatings, mutilations, and even death, at the whims and amusement of such Living Gods.
