Lindsay Lohan

Late for 'Glee'

After a Night Out

4/25/2012 11:55 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Lindsay Lohan
was late this morning for her guest appearance on "Glee" ... following a night out on the town. Coincidence?

Dot Marie Jones -- who plays Coach Beiste on the show -- tweeted, "Gonna be a long day!! Some ppl show up late and just throw a wrench in things. Not cool! I'd rather be an hour early (I was) than 5 minutes late!"

Dot didn't say who was late, but we've confirmed the person MIA was LiLo.

Now here's the good news for Lindsay ... Sources connected with the production tell TMZ, Lindsay shot her big scenes the other day, and director Eric Stoltz has been saying she was "very professional." We're told she nailed her lines and was very polite to cast and crew.

Lindsay is back on set today just for reaction shots when the kids sing on the show. We're told her tardiness did not hold up production.

"Lindsay was NOT late. This is a clear case of cheap jealousy. Some people feel they need to create grief and drama everywhere they go. Whomever made that slanderous accusation with be dealt with accordingly and held responsible for their actions".

Lindsay Lohan on Rosie's remarks: 'So intrusive'

After Rosie O'Donnell remarked that Lindsay Lohan is neither right nor ready to play a young Liz Taylor in a Lifetime film, Lohan herself is questioning where O'Donnell's getting her info from.

"It's funny that someone you don't know at all can say something so intrusive and so knowing," the 25-year-old actress told "Access Hollywood" Tuesday evening.

O'Donnell told Matt Lauer on the "Today" show earlier that day that she feels "sorry" for Lohan, who's been cast as the late legend in Lifetime's "Liz & Dick."

"She's not in a place to work," O'Donnell said. "I don't think she's right for the role, and I don't think she's capable at this point of doing what's needed."

Lohan's rep fired back that O'Donnell should "focus on her own career right now and not worry about everyone else's," and even Lohan's dad has joined the response train.

"Is Rosie in ANY position to judge anyone?" Michael Lohan inquired in a statement to the Huffington Post. "I will fight tooth and nail for what's right! In this case, Rosie, you are wrong."

Lifetime execs seem to agree. When the network announced that Lohan, who has been trying to resurrect her career after personal troubles began to eclipse it, was officially their Dame Taylor, the executive VP of programming for Lifetime called her "one of the rare actresses who possesses the talent, beauty and intrigue to capture the spirit of such a provocative icon."

And then there's the fact, to hear producer Larry Thompson tell it, that Lohan "may be the most insured that ever walked on a soundstage," as he said to E!.

Wasted Lindsay with her brother the night before. Wonder if she makes out with him, like she does her mother? Check the picture out.

Birds gotta fly, fish gotta swim...
Actual letter transcript:

Dear Lindsay,

Since the commencement of principal photography of Georgia Rule, you have frequently failed to arrive on time to the set. Today, you did not show for work (all day). I am now told you don't plan to work tomorrow because you are "not feeling well." You and your representatives have told us that your various late arrivals and absences from the set have been the result of illness; today we were told it was "heat exhaustion." We are well aware that your ongoing all night heavy partying is the real reason for your so called "exhaustion." We refuse to accept bogus excuses for your behavior.

To date, your actions on Georgia Rule have been discourteous, irresponsible and unprofessional. You have acted like a spoiled child and in so doing have alienated many of your co-workers and endangered the quality of this picture. Moreover, your actions have resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage. We will not tolerate these actions any further.

If you do not honor your production commitments, including your scheduled call time for tomorrow, and any call times thereafter, we will hold you personally accountable. This means that in addition to pursuing full monetary damages, we will take such other action as we deem necessary to preserve the integrity of the Georgia Rule Production as well as Morgan Creek's financial interests. I urge you to take this letter seriously and conduct yourself professionally.

"Look, Linds. They just don't want you "on set". Tell ya what - I'll give you star billing and talk you up. You know.... say how "amazing" you were and that you didn't steal anything at all. No one's even gonna know you were booted - no one's gonna watch it anyway. Just never come back to the studio. We'll send you your check. Deal?"

"Fine. But only if you say I wrote the screenplay, too".

I didn't know crossing your fingers behind your back still worked. Good times.

"I know that I'm great. I know that I know Liz Taylor very well, and I share the same makeup artist and the same hair stylist. We've worked with a lot of the same people,"

The Star Magazine events was for "D" listed and "Z" listed

Lindsay Lohan, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Taylor Armstrong, Celebrity Apprentice star Aubrey O'Day were among the beautiful faces that dotted Star magazine's fourth-annual All-Hollywood bash at the AV Nightclub in Tinseltown Tuesday night.

The party was to celebrate the people shaking up Hollywood, and’s special correspondent Matt Grant, of The Bachelor fame, hit the red carpet to talk to the gorgeous crowd.

In addition to LiLo, Taylor, and Aubrey, other celebs attending the bash included Taylor’s ‘Real Housewives’ cast mate Dana Wilkey, singer/actress Christina Milian, American Idol alum Pia Toscana, Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi of Shahs of Sunset and reality TV fixture Tila Tequila.

“Dana was having a blast with the other housewives,” an insider tells Star. “She was dancing on a stripper pole and laughing about her new song 25,000 B*tches.”

Christina -- who brought her sister as her date to the bash -- was showered with compliments about her gig on The Voice.

“Christina was so gracious and appreciative of all the nice remarks about her job on the show,” the insider continued.

It was a date night for many at the party! Bad Girls Club Natalie Nunn brought her fiancee Jacob Payne, Alexis Bellino visited the eos photobooth while her husband Jim watched on adoringly, and Millionaire Matchmakers Destin Pfaff and Rachel Federoff mingled side by side with all the guests.

Lindsay introduced musical guest Karmin, gushing that her brother, Michael Jr., introduced her to the group and that she has been texting with them for a while, but only got to meet them tonight.

ROL is affilialted with Star mag and bc they are always trashing her why would they want to have her at their party and what self-respecting actress would ever show up to a Star magazine party unless...they are the ones you are in agreement to write trashy stories about yourself to keep your career from slipping into the abyss - the only info about her that exists is negative and once that is gone - because most peole in entertainment for years like Rosie - believe exactly what Rosie said and now it has been said aloud and she is f*cked

What you were told about her performance is wrong. Your "sources" are obviously either Lindsay or her rep. I know several of the people who were there and they've each commented on how bad it was and that she was terrible to deal with, one said that it was a headache for everyone involved. Other sites have been reporting that people who work on the show have said she's the worst person they've worked with. No one would say that someone who shows up late is "very professional". Regardless of if her tardiness held up production or not, that just shows her lack of respect. There is absolutely no excuse for her being late, not like she has a rigorous schedule that makes showing up difficult. All she does is party and she couldn't even manage not to do that for one night, knowing she had a job to do the next day. There are other people who have made guest appearances that have children, are involved in other series, and volunteer their time to various causes, yet none of them were late. Pathetic, just pathetic.

The word I get is that everyone is BMing and PMing about her performance on Glee which was apparently horrible no one but Rosie has the guts to say it on Twitter
