'The Artist' Star

Pulls Plug on Separation

6/23/2012 4:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0622_penolope_anne_miller"The Artist" actress Penelope Ann Miller -- who played Doris in the Academy Award-winning film -- has changed her mind about splitting from her husband of 12 years ... yanking her recent request for legal separation.

TMZ broke the story 48-year-old Miller filed for separation from her husband James Huggins back in March, citing "irreconcilable differences." The couple was married in 2000 and has two children.

But Miller has had a change of heart -- and just filed papers in L.A. dismissing her separation request.

It's unclear why Miller flip-flopped -- her camp declined to comment.

So, technically she lied. She said the differences were "irreconcilable," but they clearly reconciled.

This was the most boring movie ever. It was like torture. The plost was so obvious and shallow and trashy. These actors didn't even have to talk. Why did they win so many awards? They were just like charicatures of old movie stars.

People are really nuts what they consider to be culutred nowadays. They were laughing uproariously and stupid scenes like a dog playing dead when it hears a gunshot. I felt like I was in a board meeting with a bunch of stiffs tyring to kiss up to the boss by laughing at every hint of humor.

I'll take Adam Sandler's Jack and Jill over this any day for culture and humor and intelligence.

Penny and Jim are friends of mine and both wonderful people. At least they are trying to work things through unlike a lot of Hollywood types who just throw in the towel. -"The General'
