Katie Holmes

From Prenup

7/3/2012 9:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Katie Holmes
will be getting virtually nothing from Tom Cruise by way of $$$$ because their prenup cuts her out of his fortune ... and sources connected with Katie tell us it's just fine with her.

We've learned the prenup Katie signed is long, tight and stacked in Tom's favor.  We're told reports that she'll walk away with $15-20 million are absurd.  Our sources say Katie will walk away with what she brought into the marriage ... and hardly anything else.

Our Katie sources tell us, "She's not about the money.  She's not that girl.  She loves to work."

We're told there's one thing Katie is insistent on -- she wants child support from Tom, and that could turn into a big ticket item.

As for whether Katie will challenge the prenup ... it's pretty common when a divorcing couple is in conflict, and our Katie sources are not ruling that out.  But they insist, "Money is not that important to her.  She makes plenty on her own."

One final point ... a well-placed source connected with the couple tells us, the prenup that basically gives Katie bupkis is proof the marriage is not a sham -- she didn't tie the knot for the loot.

Katie couldn't care less about his money. She want's her life back and her daughter away from Scientology. Plain and simple. Espically when 6-12 years old is primetime for kids with the Scientology
sec questions...Hell that list scares me.

Cruise has always been a control freak. She had enough. Even if they stayed together Cruise would have dumped her right under the 10 year mark to avoid community property just like he did with Kidman.

Ah, look what happened to Kidman...she was able to ware heels again, her career flourished, she's an Oscar winning Actress, very happily married with a beautiful daughter to Keith Urban.

Katie just want's to go back to being able to make her own desisions, having her own thoughts and feelings and want's no part of Scientology for her daughter. She can even go back to wareing heels.

Pure speculation, hearsay, "sources claim..." and oceans of bulls**t will fill these Web sites. People will believe what they want. It all makes for good copy, but in the end -- it's all meaningless to the lives of those who read it.

This marriage is a total sham. Contract. This I know for sure. Tommy likes boys.....I have a very good source in LA........ Rock solid...

If she walked away with just child support, more power to her. She can support herself, and maybe that is what she is counting on; herself. However, she is entitled to half the value of any home they purchased in the past 5 years in which to live with her child. I say, take the child support and run. Katie has a lifetime to make her own millions.

I am sure that getting herself and Suri away from freaky littleTom and his scientology group is worth a fortune to her!!

I hope Katie gets a few movies or a TV show and easily makes $15-20 million in the next year or so. Tom cannot control her with his money to try to force her to give him more custody and control of Suri. It doesn't matter how much money he has or how high priced his attorney goons are. He's not going to force Katie to send Suri to some crackpot Scientology school, "Sea Org" or "Cadet Org" or whatever. Katie can tell him to go screw himself. Katie is good looking and she's a good actress. I bet she'll get back in the saddle and do just fine in new acting gigs. She could do lots of roles. She's plenty smart. She got into Ivy League school Columbia University and she was conflicted about continuing in acting vs. studying to become a doctor. Who knows, maybe Katie will get a chance to play a doctor on TV or in the movies instead.

all about the money

Wow after the whole jumping on Oprah's couch about being so in love and he has that tight of a pre-nup? Or should we say the Church of Science wacky demanded such a strict pre-nup. Tom has no money, the church takes all his money and gives him an allowance.

But like article this case its not about the money. Its about getting a young impressionable child out of the hands of a bunch of space alien worshiping wackos.

Someone posted this on another website :

"On June 17, 2005, the NY Daily News gossip column The Daily Dish [about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes] wrote this...

Some engaging tidbits
So here's what I'm hearing about that relationship.
A source VERY close to the deal is saying there's a contract.
It's worth $5 million.
It's for five years.
There will be no sex.
The deal was sealed June 7.
That's what I'm hearing.

And one kid. I obviously have no way of confirming this and don't know who does. What I can confirm is that Katie read for Tom Cruise's partner, Paula Wagner, for a part in Mission Impossible III and was subsequently sent to LA for a read with Cruise. Holmes did not return for 17 days and when she did, she met with and fired her manager stating, in a prepared speech, that she was embarking on a new journey in her life and needed new people around her. Rumor has it those 17 days were spent detoxing in The Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre. I find it hard not to believe this..."

It was a sham relationship she was there for a career boost, he was there to keep the gay rumours away and because he was desperate for a biological kid, only victim here is Suri.

I like Judy and STFUP's responses to #106, Ihateskanks post. Some people should just stay quiet, or get informed.

Katie Holmes was always "careful" with what she said and never revealed too much during Scientology auditing sessions that she partook in during her time with Tom Cruise, is exclusively reporting.

"Katie wasn't exactly forthcoming with information during her Scientology audit/confessions," a source close to the situation tells "Katie's father, Martin, advised her to be careful with what she said during these sessions so that nothing negative could get leaked to the press or be used to make her look bad.

"Look, Katie led a very ordinary and honest life before she met Tom and tried to continue to do so during the time she was with him. Katie is level headed and extremely smart. She was never completely committed to Scientology, but she participated because she truly was in love with Tom and she knew it meant a lot to him. Her heart just wasn't in it though, she was always guarded and careful during the auditing sessions with what she revealed."
As we previously reported, Katie Holmes' family has been getting information for years on "the iron grip" that Scientology has on Cruise's personal and business life, ex-high ranking Scientologist Marty Rathbun told in an exclusive interview. "I did audit sessions with Tom Cruise from 2001-2004 and I can tell you that I have a friend that has been providing Katie Holmes' family information for years with information about the iron grip the Church of Scientology has on Tom Cruise's family and professional life. This has been going on for at least four years," he said.
The audit sessions with Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were ALWAYS either audiotaped or videotaped, according to Rathbun. "Yes, the sessions were either audiotaped or videotaped, and those remain with the Church of Scientology. The Church definitely would have wanted to know Katie's every thought," Rathbun tells exclusively.
According to church literature, "Auditing is a central practice in Scientology through which a practitioner is cleared of negative influences known as engrams in order to heighten spiritual awareness and access currently untapped potential. Auditing sessions involve two people: the person being audited and an auditor. The person being audited is generally referred to as a pre-Clear in public Scientology literature, although Clears continue to participate in a similar process. The auditor monitors a device known as an electro-psychometer, or E-meter. The pre-Clear holds a metal cylinder in each hand, both of which are attached by wires to the E-meter.".

Holmes filed for divorce in New York last Thursday, and is seeking sole legal custody and primary physical custody of the couple's 6-year-old daughter Suri.

Rathbun left the church in 2004 because of alleged violence he witnessed at the headquarters in Florida. Marty's book, What Is Wrong With Scientology? was recently released and is available on Amazon for $17.76.

I think she should get some money from him since he and the scientologists killed off her acting career for a number of years. No person that wasn't brainwashed would have walked away from the biggest female role in the Batman series.

Tom may be in control of the money, but he's no longer controlling Katie. I'm sure if he had his way, she'd be a Quiet little Stepford wife, and do as she's told.
