Evander Holyfield

Boxing Up Foreclosed

Georgia Mansion

Evander Holyfield couldn't fight his way outta this one ... the former heavyweight champ is finally moving out of his foreclosed Georgia mansion after failing to strike a deal with the bank.

TMZ broke the story ... Holyfield owed more than $14 million on the 54,000 square foot mega-mansion ... which was recently sold at a foreclosure auction for $7.5 million.

After the sale, the bank that purchased the home allowed Evander to continue to live there temporarily ... but judging by the moving trucks lined up at his front door ... it seems he's finally worn out his welcome.

We're told the trucks spent several hours at the mansion -- though it's unclear where the movers are taking E.H.'s stuff.

Holyfield obviously has some major financial problems -- besides the foreclosure, he owes a ton of cash in unpaid federal taxes ... plus, he's up to his mangled ears in back child support payments.

I'm sorry but I don't feel sorry for E.H or any of the celebrity/athletes who make millions, buy stupid huge homes (come on 54,000 sq/ft!!) then can't make ends meet. Someone buy this guy a cardboard box.

Not usually moved by famous people going under, but I find this kind of sad. Holyfield has held multiple heavyweight and cruiserweight championship titles since the mid 80's, and he fought as recently as one year ago. At his peak, one fight payday would have easily paid off this home and much more. He should have had better financial advisors to help him with what must have been massive overspending and siphoning off of money through cronyism.

Looks like Evander Holyfield has been doing the same stupid things with his money that boxer Mike Tyson did. Oh well.

Tyson blew just about everything to the tune of a HUNDRED million or so. Some people just cannot handle the responsibility of having piles of money and they go bat sheut crazy spending it all. It happens all the time with lottery winners, entertainers, and pro athletes. They often end up broke within 5-10 years.

Oh yeah, y'all would DIE if you could see where this house is located. I live in Atlanta and I promise you he couldn't have sold this house if he tried. It's sitting directly on a main road (Old National Hwy) in a not so desirable part of town with nothing around it. It was the worst decision and ROI in history.

Another moron who blew their wad on stupid stuff. Why in the world do you need a home that large? I guess reality slapped him in the face. His brains must have been in that ear Tyson bit off.
