Winklevoss Twins

Drop $18 Mil of Facebook

Cash on Sick L.A. Mansion

8/27/2012 10:40 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

Winklevoss Twins have a new Los Angeles mansion.
The Winklevoss Twins are making another move on Mark Zuckerberg's territory ... by moving to California, and dropping $18 MILLION on a crazy spectacular home in the Hollywood Hills.

Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss -- who snagged $65 million by settling their beef with Zuckerberg, are getting one of the best homes in the Hollywood Hills.  The house that had been on the lot was bulldozed, and a new, 8,000 square foot crib was just completed with a jetliner view of L.A.

Sources tell TMZ ... the Winklevii have their eye on SoCal as the new Silicon Valley (which is home to Facebook and Apple) thanks to L.A.'s booming tech scene.  Tyler will be living in the home as they launch the West Wing of their start-up company,  Winklevoss Capital, which is currently in NYC.  Cameron will stay in The Big Apple.

Watch out Mark.

There's nothing "sick" about this place. It's ugly, plain, dull and cold-looking.

Very cold looking house. Hopefully Zuckerberg paid them in a lump sum of cash, or they are going to end up on the street. Facebook stock is going to zero, and Zuck isn't going to have any way to pay them future installments if that's how they structured it.
On the up side, this place would be GREAT for a porno shoot, so they will have some income from Vivid at least.

I would like to vote up for the posts I agree with rather than restating what's already been said. However, as is often the case, TMZ's voting thing is NOT working for me. Anyway, nice view and pool, but the rest of the dwelling is cold and stark. ICK!

1. I wish I had 1% of their billions.
2. They seem to like really ugly houses.
3. Their lives are probably extremely empty. Not having to work or worry about the things that the rest of us have to worry about usually ends in emptiness and boredom.

OMG . . . this is the ugliest "crib" I've seen in a long, long while. Why would anyone want to live there?

Yawl just let every gold digging hussy in LA know the twins are moving here. I agree with the others, these twins are never apart from one another. Separation issues. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I think it's sad that 2 people buy a house like this when there are so many homeless ppl out there. There is no reason in the world that they can need this much room, other that to show off their wealth....same for all celebs.

I would never let anyone see the floor plans to my house. Many things should be kept private and this is one of them. People like to flaunt what they have, but just because someone is a celebrity doesn't mean ALL of their business needs to be up for the world to see. We'd never see "regular" people's floor plans. All this does is invite the wrong people into their lives. If I got $65 million from suing Facebook or any other big corporation, you wouldn't know about sh!+ that I was doing or where I lived.
