Heidi Klum

I Didn't Cheat

on Seal with My Bodyguard

9/1/2012 4:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0901_tmz_heidi_klum_bodyguard_seal_tmzSeal’s accusation that Heidi Klum cheated on him during their marriage is absolutely false ... at least that’s what Heidi is telling close friends.

TMZ posted a video this morning in which Seal said straight out said Heidi was screwing the bodyguard while they were together --- and that is why their marriage fell apart.

Heidi told one close friend today her relationship with the bodyguard was "strictly professional" while she was with Seal.

The friends tell us that since the split, Heidi says she has gotten "very close" to the bodyguard ... who has helped her through the difficulties of ending a marriage

As for the nature of their relationship now ... all the friend would say is it's "undefined." So that's what the kids are calling it these days.

Heidi's friend adds, "It’s sad but not surprising that he would resort to making excuses for their divorce when the real reason is looking him in the mirror."

I can't stand crater face Seal. I don't see how Heidi put up with him as long as she did. Good for her. I hope she finds happiness and is moving on without this "one hit wonder" loser. I saw a video clip from the paparrazi once where Seal and Heidi was coming out of a restaurant, and Seal was talking so mean to Heidi and telling her to hurry and get the kids in the car. She told him she was trying but he would shut up. I had no use for him after that. You can tell he would be hard to live with. Stay strong Heidi, take care of them babies and don't worry about your loser ex!!!!!! You'll go far in life as you always have, while your ex remains a nobody.

She was screwing the bodyguard. It's like asking your best friend to watch your girl when you're away. Everyone can have weak moments.

It's clear that Heidi S*** was already screwing the help well before both she and Seal ended their marriage. She simply reminds me of a German female colleague who could not stop cheating on her boyfriend. I’m now wondering if most German women cheat on their boyfriends an husbands.

Hes an embarrassment to the profession. REAL professional Executive Protection Agents NEVER cross that line. Just another POS loser looking to make himself some fame when he writes the book. Hope you read this, douche bag...and I hope it was worth it because you have ZERO credibility within the community now, bottom feeder.

Seal did not say what is being claimed above. He did not say she was with the bodyguard while they were together, he said he wished she waited until they were divorced before doing so. They are still married. It IS cheating when you're still married. A large percentage of the separated patch things up. Let's see, her relationship with bodyguard is strictly professional but they've become very close, right. Also, Seal did not make the so called excuse, the press and everyone else did and he just responded.

It is unacceptable for a bodyguard to not only entertain the thought of having a romantic relationship with their client, but to actually take it to the next level and have a relationship is downright despicable!

I have provided executive protection to some of the world’s most prominent public figures and have seen clients (male and female) confuse the service provided with love. This is called the Florence Nightingale Effect. This effect usually affects the health care providers who establish a connection with a patient. It pertains to doctors, nurses and all other individuals who develop romantic or sexual feelings towards the person they are caring for and vice versa. Yes, when protection is done correctly, clients will feel a since of shelter, personal attachment, trust, acceptance, happiness, compassion and simply appreciated. These are things we all want to feel when in a relationship. However, as a professional bodyguard, we must recognize that these feelings are only fabricated by the protection provided and eventually the fantasy will end.

In the case of Ms. Klum and her bodyguard (Martin Kristen), whether true or not, the professional boundaries have clearly been crossed and there is no excuse for the protector to have allowed his feelings to become reciprocated.

I can go on and on about how wrong this is, but let me quickly close here by directing my final comments to all the professional bodyguards out there. Your #1 duty when hired to protect is to look after the safety and security of your client. If you find yourself feeling any type of affection for the person you protect, remove yourself from the assignment immediately because you are no longer providing a safe and secure environment. If you are an executive protection company, which provides bodyguard services, please ensure your training incorporates the psychological side of protecting and how both the client and the protector often mistake the service provided for romantic or sexual feelings.
