"Sons of Anarchy" actor Kenny Johnson says his fellow "SoA" alum Johnny Lewis was "a really good guy" ... telling TMZ he was completely shocked by the news of his death.

Johnson -- who appeared on "SoA" after Lewis' character was killed off -- was at The Grove in L.A. yesterday and told us he felt differently about the situation than "Sons" creator Kurt Sutter, who said Lewis had been on a "destructive path" for a while.

"It's sad man ... I'm sad, I'm bummed, I've been in shock all day," Johnson told us ... adding, "He's a really good guy."

"Really good guys" don't go around killing people and animals. This guy seems like a total douche, defending a psychotic murderer.

I am SICK TO DEATH of reading how the Face Eating Zombie was "a really good guy." How the men who walk into their former jobs and kill as many as they can were "really good guys" and EVERY thug (male and female) that beat down or bully innocent people and VIDEO TAPE IT are "really good kids."!!!!! If you do bad things to anyone or anything, there is NO GOOD in you. Period!

Really good guy has to be the worst tag for such a horrid excuse for a person who not only kills a cat but also kills an old woman in the process! How does that make one a good guy? I really wish people would stop blaming all this mental health or religious affiliations to Scientology. The guy obviously could not handle reality and took a pansy way out instead of dealing with life like an adult. And before you say anything about my comment, I have issues of my own and they are far worse than this little turd had ever have happen to me but I don't go around killing small animals or random people. I deal with life like an adult. Hope this piece of trash rots in hell forever.
