Obama

Romney Disses Little Kids

Over Nickelodeon Prez Show

10/8/2012 10:37 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

1008_obama_mitt_nick
President Obama's peeps say Mitt Romney is gonna be sorry for blowing off a bunch of kids who participated in the Nickelodeon show, "Kids Pick the President."

The premise of the show -- kids submit questions to each candidate and based on the answers they make their pick for leader of the free world.

Obama answered the kids' questions, but Romney said he didn't have the time.

Deputy National Press Secretary Adam Fetcher tells TMZ, "It's no surprise Romney decided to play hookey. Kids demand details, and I'm sure they want some answers on why Romney could increase their class sizes, eliminate their teacher's jobs, raise taxes on their families and slash funding for Big Bird."

Fetcher ends with this zinger: "'The dog ate my homework' just doesn't cut it when you're running for President."

LOL... the people on here are so desperate to defend their soulless, flip flopping candidate and spin this into something GOOD. Face it, he turned down an opportunity to talk to little kids. Something that the last republican AND democrat candidates were HAPPY to do. That's right. Both parties saw the good in this, once upon a time. Now the conservatives are forced into humiliating themselves by defending Mitt Romney's foolishness.

Can TMZ please stay out of politics. It is confusing enough from normal media sources....

Nickelodeon does this every presidential election cycle, as I can recall from my childhood in the early '90s. Mitt Romney not having the time is a BS excuse. He had all the time in the world to prepare for the first debate, so I don't see a good explanation for why he couldn't find time for this.

Seriously, you honestly believe Nikelodeon kids will be asking the hard-hitting question? No wonder Obama blew the debate. He should be spending more time on the important issues.

Of course he turned them down. In every case, we first see the real Romney. He insults England, then apologizes. He insults 47% of the U.S.A. then apologizes. He gets someone else to tell him what to say in the debates and does well, then insults kids. Apology coming soon.

What the hell is wrong with the nearly 50% of Americans who support Romney. Are you daft? Clearly, you would support the Republican Party no matter what monkey they put on the ticket, just so you can be loyal to the party that your grandpa voted for, who probably had a grade 3 education in the 1930's. Mitt Romney is a straight up stooge, just like Bush, Palin and McCain.

Umm ok...

Mitt Romney gave a fantastic foreign policy speech at the Virginia Military Institute today ...and Obama has his people pitching a fit about big bird and preschool children. Sounds about right.

Hello America. Mitt Romney doesn't have time for your children. They can't make him richer. You can make Romney richer by voting for him.

This is just to out there. Obama is everything Hollywood and Romney is not. Romney is busy trying to win this election. Children should not be worrying about politics. They should be worrying about getting their school work completed and making good grades.

I'm going to have to point out that our POTUS "blew off" Isreal PM Benjamin Netanyahu for the past 4 years. Seems like Isreal's PM is a bit more important then a bunch of spoiled children......... But lets forget about that and focus on Big Bird and Nickelodeon.

That's because Romney's the adult in this campaign. He's actually taking our problems seriously.

Of course Obama had time to answer kids questions. He doesn't have anything better to do right? Between making his picks for a march madness poll, singing songs at events, and working on his jump shoot, the leader of the free world doesn't have that much responsibility. can we please vote this Ahole out of office!!
