Discovery Channel's "The Devils Ride" -- a reality show about a San Diego biker gang -- has some real deal bad dudes... because TMZ has learned, one of the stars just got arrested for stabbing a guy while burglarizing his house.

According to docs, Sandman -- real name Robert Johnston -- was arrested on December 27 for burglary, attempted murder (with a knife), assault with a deadly weapon and making criminal threats.

In charging documents, prosecutors say Sandman broke into the victim's house on Dec. 22 with the intent to commit burglary, and at some point, stabbed the victim ... inflicting "great bodily injury."

Sandman is still behind bars, being held on $755,000 bail.

By the way, "Devils Ride" isn't currently airing, but rumor is it's coming back for a 2nd season.

Reps for Discovery had no comment.

Sandman is a punk and a phoney. He needs prison. His stupid part on that show was a sham where he supposedly knocked out the boxing coach at Undisputed in San Diego, total setup. I'd love to go one round with that douche bag.

I remember a time long ago when Discovery Channel actually had good science and nature based shows. At this point the only thing left on it that I watch is Mythbusters.

The show is scripted; the editing isn't even that great (sometimes they use the same actors more than once).

One of the "new members" (or of the rival "Sinister Mob") is actually an actor that appeared on Sons of Anarchy; he listed it on his Facebook page as an acting credit.

The guy is a piece of garbage who took most of his friends down with him while he was on the run. The guy he stabbed wasn't really even messing with his ex. Sandman is no true outlaw. He's a sissy la la who commits petty crime to feed his drug habit, gets his friends caught up in his BS and whines like a lil b**** when he doesn't get his way. .... to his victim.... you have our prayers brother. To full and swift recovery.
