-- Howard Weitzman, the attorney for MJ's estate, tells TMZ, “Mr. Robson has adamantly denied under oath and in numerous interviews over the past 20 years that Michael Jackson ever did anything inappropriate to him. He now wants us to believe that he committed perjury at least twice and has been lying to anyone and everyone about Mr. Jackson since the early ‘90s so he can file a claim for money.  Mr. Robson’s transparent lawsuit comes nearly 4 years after Michael passed. His claim is outrageous and sad.”

Wade Robson
says the only reason he's now changing his story ... accusing Michael Jackson of sexually abusing him for 7 years is because Michael engaged in a campaign of manipulation to keep him silent, especially during MJ's 2005 child molestation trial.

Robson went on NBC Today and said, Michael "performed sexual acts on me and forced me to perform sexual acts on him" from the age of 7 ... until Robson was 14.

Robson claimed he testified in 2005 that Michael did NOT sexually abuse him because Michael told him what they were doing was "an expression of love" ... and added, "if you ever tell anyone what we're doing both of our lives and our careers will be over."

TMZ broke the story ... Robson filed a creditor's claim against Michael Jackson's estate last week, insisting MJ sexually abused him during his childhood for years, but according to sources he didn't take action until he saw a therapist following a nervous breakdown.

Robson referenced the breakdown on Today, saying ... "For the first time in my life I began to realize that my completely numb and unexplored feelings in relation to what Michael did to me might be a problem and maybe I need to speak to someone about it."

Interestingly, Robson denied repressing memories of the alleged abuse ... instead saying he was merely "psychologically and emotionally completely unable and unwilling to understand that it was sexual abuse."

Robson added he doesn't excuse the alleged abuse, but he believed Michael was a "troubled man" who was an amazing talent, but "also a pedophile."

Michael Jackson's estate has told TMZ Robson's allegations are an "outrageous and pathetic" money grab.

All this backlash that Wade is facing is exactly why people are afraid of telling their similar stories. He was a young child when this happened and pedophiles groom and manipulate their victims. They play psychological games and brainwash children and adults like you would never believe. Anyone who was molested should come out about it and should be encouraged. This attitude that people have against a potential victim is disgusting. Listen to the man but don't crucify him.

I don't think Michael Jackson forced any of these boys to engage in sexual activity, more along the lines of subtle seduction. There are other grown men who will take what occurred to their graves, Cory Feldman, comes to mind. This guy had the opportunity to speak out years ago while under oath, yet, lied. Too late now, Michael has long since passed. No case.

first it was repressed memories but now it's he was afraid/brainwashed. First it was MJ is a "monster" but now he has "compassion" for this "troubled" man?

He said
"I have never forgotten one moment of what Michael did to me, but I was psychologically and emotionally completely unable and unwilling to understand that it was sexual abuse."

His explanation will be that he was in denial. That is his new excuse. The repressed memories thing did not fly so they looked for something else.

He was being debunked and criticized from every angle about repressed memories, moneychasing, hypocrisy and betrayal, so the next step in the campaign required him to show his face and say "No repressed memories, not chasing money!" because that will undo the doubt about everything that's been claimed and reported for a week. Saying this publicly on the Today show - yes, this means Wade only speaks truths. Since nobody has ever lied during an appearance on a national morning show.

Not gonna work, Wade. You're as transparent as Saran Wrap.

To sum up what Wade is trying to get across:

Wade never forgot the abuse but was unable to understand what happened.

He didn't repress it. He and his mom and sisters defended Michael. Joy, his mom, never noticed any signs of abuse in her son.

He testified unwaveringly that Michael never touched him and was never inappropriate with him.

He would pay tribute to Michael.

He wrote a lovely emotional letter for the Opus after Michael died.

He spoke glowingly of him less than a year ago.

He has done endless of tributes.

He had a BBQ with MJ and the kids in 2008.

But he was a pedophile and Wase never forgot what happened. Ok then.

But still MJ called him as a witness in 2005. What if Wade had broken down on the witness stand?!!!!!

Evan Chandler FILES A LAWSUIT IN THE MIDDLE OF A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION in 1993, meaning HE WAS WILLING to put his child on TRIAL FOR A CIVIL LAWSUIT FOR MONEY but not a Criminal trial. Gotcha!!

Lastly the CRIMINAL investigation of MJ started in August 1993 but the Civil Lawsuit settlement didn't come until December 1993, meaning MJ HAD MONTHS to be prosecuted BEFORE any settlement in the lawsuit. In fact 2 GRAND JURIES convened and had NO EVIDENCE which is why MJ was NOT CHARGED in 1993.

By the way, is it true he is claiming 2 breakdowns now?

That's pretty convenient if true cause it probably explains away why he was still praising MJ after the first supposed breakdown in March '12

The fact that folks in this thread actually WANT this to be true. Says a lot about them, not Mj. There are many Perverts here

I'm sorry, but you can't claim you are not doing this for money, when the first thing you do is go to court for MONEY. If not, then you wouldn't be trying to seek a creditor's claim that is 2 years too late! You'd say, well, I missed the deadline, but it doesn't matter b/c I dont want money. Then get your story out there.

The worst thing to come from this interview is that he opened the door for many other liars to come forward and seek claims b/c he said there were many more out there. I guess he just came to the realization that they were abused too.

Sorry buddy, but in 2005 you were 23 years old and I'm supposed to believe that MJ told you what you were doing was "An expression of love". You knew damn well, if this were all true, what he did was wrong. The only thing you cared about, IF TRUE, was keeping your name clean and your fcuking career. One of the reasons I don't believe a word of this.

I just wish there was no lawsuit, I'd be inclined to believe what he was saying if he wasn't after a payout.
