Lindsay Lohan

Rips Her Own Movie

It Sucked!

7/3/2013 11:45 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

0703_lindsay_ikwkm_02

Lindsay Lohan knows ... her stripper movie "I Know Who Killed Me" was so bad, no one should ever watch it ... EVER ... at least that's what she's telling her fans.

Lohan -- who's still in rehab at Cliffside Malibu -- was allowed to play around on the Internet yesterday (which happened to be her birthday) ... and responded to a fan who had tweeted her the following message:

"@lindsaylohan can you tweet me I seriously watched I know who killed me twice last night."

Lohan's response was classic -- "two times too many!"

For the record -- it's not THAT terrible ... as long as you watch it on mute (see below).

@Nikki
Try coping your post before hitting comment. When I do that I can usually post without problems. I type with one figure and I hate having to retype. If you copy your post and you get TD at least you don't have to retype the comment. It has been working for me.

Off subject: darling Elisha Cuthbert married a handsome hockey player on idyllic Prince Edward Island. Best wishes to the striking couple. Sigh! I'm such a romantic. I want to go to PEI soon. Maybe a long weekend trip. It's got to be a heck of a drive.

Lindsay Lohan Advised To Extend Rehab Stay

Lindsay Lohan has been advised to stay in rehab for at least another 30 days, but the troubled actress has told friends that she won’t be staying any minute longer than she has to, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

The treatment team at Cliffside Malibu recently implored the 27-year-old to consider staying beyond her court-ordered release date at the end of July, as part of a plea deal she struck to avoid jail for lying to police about driving during a car accident in 2012.

“Lindsay has been doing so well at Cliffside. She is responding very, very well to treatment,” a source told Radar.

“The treatment team wants Lindsay to stay for at least another 30 days, because she didn’t do her entire 90 days at Cliffside. Someone with her addition and psychiatric issues needs extensive treatment and 90 days just isn’t enough. She is in a really good place right now, but her doctors want that to continue.”

Lohan checked out of the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif., for the Malibu rehab in June.

Despite the advise of her counselors, Lohan is defiant about her imminent release.

“Lindsay says she is required to be in Venice, Italy, at the beginning of August to attend the premiere of The Canyons,” the source said. “She has assured the doctors that she will continue to go to AA/NA meetings and work the 12 steps.

The starlet recently celebrated celebrated her 27th birthday with a special visit from her attorney Shawn Holley, complete with a cake donated by Carvel that she shared with other patients.

It hasn’t all been fun, though: The ex-Mean Girls star was unhappy with Betty Ford from the beginning and begged the judge and prosecutors to allow her to leave — a move they ultimately granted.

New Images From The Canyons With Lindsay Lohan And James Deen

Film Comment The CanyonsThe Canyons is set to be released on VOD and in some American cinemas on the 2nd of August before expanding a little wider one week later. Between now and then, though, it will need to first wade through a tar pit of bad publicity from a people who haven’t even see the film.

With national newspapers publishing pieces entitled The Canyons: 2013’s Most Pointless Movie? based on just the trailers, and The New York Times running a very lengthy and somewhat disputed piece on the difficulties that director Paul Schrader encountered in working with star Lindsay Lohan, the film has hardly been treated to an easy ride so far. Lohan’s recent legal issues and time spent in rehab have also led to more coverage for the film, but little to none of it positive.

Add to this that the film’s male lead is a porn star, James Deen, and you have a recipe for a lot of manufactured controversy and problematic coverage.

A strong counter point to this circus is the decision by Film Comment to devote the cover of their latest issue to the film and to feature a piece by the film’s screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis on his guilty pleasures. There’s another pieceby Paul Schrader on working with Lohan, and also reasonably substantial interview with Schrader.

It’s an interesting choice for the magazine and one that might cause many to think twice about this film that they’ve already written off, sight unseen.

I certainly haven’t written The Canyons off yet. I’m actually still pretty optimistic about it, as a fan of both Schrader and Easton Ellis, and the choice of Film Comment to put the film on the cover and to devote quite a few pages to it has given me a little more hope too.

Also included in the issue are a number of images from the film, which you find below. Some are maybe NSFW, and we’ve had to censor a couple, so keep that in mind before you start changing your office desktop’s wallpaper.

Fun at dlisted:

In the newest issue of Film Comment magazine, which has Lindsay Lohan on the cover looking like the most seasoned hooker in a discount brothel, director Paul Schrader writes about what it was like making the direct-to-Cinemax-After-Dark mess The Canyons.

Anybody who read the priceless New York Times piece about The Canyons knows that making sass sex porn with a tapir is more pleasant than working on a movie with LiLo. Paul Schrader co-signs that in his piece for Film Comment, but also writes that even though LiLo is a hot needle shoved up his pee slit, she’s magic in front of the camera and is this generation’s Marilyn Monroe. The TRUE modern day Marilyn Monroe, Shauna Sand, would hit Paul in the face with her shoe, but she doesn’t want to dirty up her exquisite lucite heel.

Paul writes that Lindsay Lohan, star of Freaky Friday, is just like Marilyn Monroe, legendary star of too many classics to type, because she’s a messy unreliable wreck who the camera loves. Paul writes (via UsWeekly):

“Similarities? Tardiness, unpredictability, tantrums, absences, neediness, psychodrama—-yes, all that, but something more, that thing that keeps you watching someone on screen, that thing you can’t take your eyes off of, that magic, that mystery. [They both] exist in the space between actors and celebrities, people whose professional and personal performances are more or less indistinguishable. Entertainers understand the distinction. To be successful, a performer controls the balance between the professional and personal, that is, he or she makes it seem like the professional is personal. It is the lack of this control that gives performers like Monroe and Lohan (and others) their unique attraction. We sense that the actress is not performing, that we are watching life itself. We call them ‘troubled,’ ‘tormented,’ ‘train wrecks’ but we can’t turn away. We can’t stop watching.”

Um, anybody who has accidentally switched to I Know Who Killed Me and immediately switched away knows that we CAN stop watching. If your eye rolling muscles haven’t completely snapped off and your eyes got another roll or two in them, keep going:

“[Lindsay] has more natural acting talent [Marilyn]. Like Monroe, her weakness is her inability to fake it. She feels she must be experiencing an emotion in order to play it. This leads to all sorts of emotional turmoil, not to mention on-set delays and melodrama. It also leads, when the gods smile, to movie magic.”

Fvckery, foolery and falsities aside, it’s amazing that Paul Schrader can type all of those words while completely high out of his head on the coke that White Oprah gave him.

It’s also amazing that Paul wrote that piece standing up while White Oprah poked his b-hole with her rolled tongue. That’s what I’m taking away from this piece anyway.

[Blo's pic on the cover of Film Comment]: "I honestly thought it was Latoya Jackson for a quick second before reading. She certainly doesn't look in her twenties."

Just a suggestion for LK. When posting our comments from rol, maybe you could post just a few and then put all the rest in a REPLY, that way we all don't have to scroll forever on the front page? Its really sweet that your posting them for Regi and others who can't seem to get on and its just a thought. Do with it what you will . . . .
