Psy Explains

Bizarre Head-Up-Ass

Korean Kids Game

EXCLUSIVE

070313_psy_launchKudos to Psy ... for helping us solve one of the greatest South Korean mysteries of all time -- and it involves this photo of an actual statue in a kids' playground in Seoul ...

Confused??!!

We were ... until Mr. Gangnam Style broke it down for us, explaining it's a children's game called Malttukbakgi (yes, we had to look up the spelling).

Psy also tells us a little more about the game's history -- but what he doesn't explain is why the kids have ... THEIR HEADS UP EACH OTHER'S ASSES!!!

We looked it up, and basically the game involves two teams -- one team has a kid standing "up against the wall and the rest of the team have all their heads up in someone else’s butt/crotch area to form what looks like a big ol’ horse."

The other team then jumps on top of the "horse."

Umm ... we'll just stick to Korean BBQ. Delicious.

It's called Johnny on the Pony and was played in both the Bronx and Queens, New York City in the 1950's. Your head was on the left side of the thigh of the person in front of you. The best players were the heavier kids because they caused the collapse of the other team more often.

It is not a korean game, it is played in many countries around the world, even if you will not find a statue about it in all of these countries. And it seems to be an american game too ..... so...... try to read about it before writting an article!

We played this game as children - in America it is called Buckity Buck. The last person to "jump" on the horse says "Buckity Buck, how many fingers are up" and puts fingers up on their hand. The "horse" team guesses and if they get it wrong - they are the horse team again. Sides can change without quessing the fingers if a "rider" falls off the "horse" when jumping on

In Romania we call it "Thick Milk" (Lapte gros) and it is an eastern region kids game especially in the '90's immediately after the fall of the communist regime, kids jump on the back of the other kids.
