About My Daughter's Engagement

TMZ Photog: "How excited are you for your daughter -- she's about to get married and stuff?"
Bobby Brown: "I'M NOT."

That basically sums up Bobby B's feeling about his daughter Bobbi Kristina getting engaged to Nick "He's Not My Biological Brother" Gordon.

Bobby made it clear he doesn't approve ... and reveals that Nick never even called him up to ask for her hand in marriage.

The Brown family isn't exactly the tightest bunch -- Bobbi Kristina doesn't talk to her dad, so why would Nick?

Still let's recap ... the not-official brother didn't call his quasi step-dad to ask permission to marry his kinda-sister.

Despite the bitterness, Bobby tells TMZ ... "I just want her to be happy."

We broke the story, Bobbi K revealed the engagement on Facebook last week ... and though Whitney treated Nick like a son growing up, he's not a blood relative and was never formally adopted.

Still, kinda weird ...

Let's face it- Bobby was a looser, and Whitney was a boozing druggie, and because the whole family was in denial and full time enablers because they lived off her money, OF COURSE the kid is going to grow up being clueless about responsibility and know anything about making good, careful decisions.

You might not like BB but he's right. Any guy that does not have respect to go to her father to ask for his daughter's hand in marriage will never have respect for the girl. Even if the girl and the father are on a rocky patch. If he's a great guy he would even try and patch things up within them.

Just as BK can express her opinion, why can´t Bobby Brown express his? After all, it is a little creepy that a boy who was treated as a son is now marrying the girl that was "like" his sister. Despite the lack of blood ties, there are some cultures and religions in which that kind of marriage would be regarded as incestuous.

I have decided to protest/boycott all further Zimmerman/Martin news as it is just hate building more hate to the point of no return.

That said, i am going to focus all my attention on Bobby Kristina Houston. It is a Study on The Failure of Nepotism.

She's from a dysfunctional family. Unfortunately a lot of her decisions will reflect that. She is going to clearly do what she want to do whenever she wants to whether family or anyone approves or disapprove. She has probably been waiting for this day a long time, to be her own boss, and she is living it to the fullest

TMZ--I love the summation comment (the not official brother....)--funny! Is this sorta brother ever planning to work? Who knows..maybe they'll make marriage work. Maybe Bobbi and her father can work things out. Maybe, maybe.

If your daughter was NOT brought up surrounded by drug addicts, go for it, let's not forget:
"crack is whack and crack is cheap" love mom and dad.

How proud is your daughter that her memories are of her parents doing drugs.
