Chris Brown just got confined for 90 days ... but not in jail ... in rehab.

Brown and his lawyer, Mark Geragos, were just in court for a progress report in the Rihanna beating case.  TMZ broke the story ... the Probation Dept. notified the judge that Brown flew into yet another violent rage while he was in a Malibu rehab joint for anger management, and was thrown out of the facility after only 2 weeks.  The Probation Dept. recommended live-in anger management rehab.

The judge agreed with Probation, and ordered Brown to check into a facility for 90 days, and the facility must be in L.A. County and approved by Probation.

The judge is letting Chris juggle his criminal cases and will let him fly to D.C. for court hearings on his criminal assault case.

Brown must also submit to drug testing at the rehab facility.  He must also take any prescriptions recommended by the rehab place.

The judge also wants a report on the D.C. incident ... something that could result in Chris getting his probation yanked in the Rihanna case ... which could then result in prison time.

He will be found dead. He is on a fast track to suicide and doesn't even know it. I give him two years, if that. When he realizes that his career is over and its never coming back, that will be the day he surrenders. Demons got him man.

Im sorry if I sound ignorant but Id think an "Anger management facility" would have a better way of handling (surprise, surprise) angry people then trying to medicate them & tossing them out. It sounds rediculous to me and unhelpful.

This putz has had a string of violent outbursts. Throwing a chair at GMA, his entourage vs. Drake's at a club in NYC (that resulted in lots of damages to property and people), and the recent fracas in DC. Not to mention (although it's not violent) people participating in Brown's community service records being falsified.

Still can't believe how many people post "jail jail jail" as the answer for everything. Weird guys just really weird.

Sent him to rikers! Robert Downey Jr did his stint and became a real professional actor. Maybe Chris can be a new man or if it doesn't happen then he could be some Bubba's playmate there.

How come Alex baldwin never gets this kind of sentance. He has been screaming and yelling and pushing people around for years. I hope his next explosion sends his ass to court and he gets to sit his ass in a rehab for 90 days. Right along with Sean Penn and his kid.
