George Zimmerman Boxing

Trayvon's Family Refuses Donation

FIGHT IS OFF AGAIN

George Zimmerman will not be bare-knuckle brawling ... TMZ has learned the celebrity boxing match has been canceled again after Trayvon Martin's family refused to accept any money from the fight's promoter.

As we reported ... FilmOn.com CEO Alki David wanted Zimmerman to fight multiple high profile opponents in a fight-club style match ... and said he would donate all profits to the foundation created by Trayvon Martin's family.

But late today the foundation told TMZ it would NOT take any money from the fight, saying it "stands boldly against any act of violence" and would reject David's donations.

When we called David for comment he decided to pull the plug altogether, saying ... "I respect the wishes of the family and in light of this we are canceling the event."

The original bout -- planned with DMX -- was axed when the first promoter got 2nd thoughts ... and death threats.

Now he wants to fight in the ring so when he starts getting his ass beat AGAIN I guess he will shoot them too and claim self defense. You ppl kill me with this nonsense this kid smoked weed and stole some jewelry lets give these other kids who are doing the same thing life in prison. He didn't deserve to die bottom line Zimmerman didn't deserve to go free. You guys that think what George done was ok go look in the mirror and put your child in the situation Martin was in, minding his own business and then gets followed by a stranger and that stranger kills your your child different ball game then. We can all be the Judge, jury, and executioners online. NO MATTER HOW MUCH WEED HE SMOKED OR JEWELRY HE TOOK. DID HE DESERVE TO DIE?????

Just heard about an interview he did for Univision. Don't know why that's not on TMZ. But I'm looking at him and want to know when did he go to the gym to box? He is still a fat pudge and I think he was only going to box for money, obviously, but he would have gotten his butt handed to him. That's all.

Well wouldn't he just shoot his opponent once they got the upper hand like he did Trayvon? And how ignorant of them to do this? This is to this case what "If I Did It" is to the Simpson case...a shining example of how wrong our judicial system is.

No Stephanie he wouldn't shoot his opponent because he would never get the upper hand. And whoever he got in the ring with would make side deals and beat him to death. They would probably get away with it. It pains me to say this but before I learned that George Zimmerman is an idiot, I thought maybe he had actually committed a justifiable homicide. Turns out Travon was the real hero, he stood up to a bully with a gun. No matter what else Travon did or didnt do, he stood up to a criminal with a chip on his shoulder.
