Michael B. Jordan has a message for all the hating comic book fans who say a BLACK man can't play the extremely WHITE Human Torch -- CHILL OUT!

Jordan just got the the role of Johnny Storm in the upcoming Fantastic Four remake -- even though in comics, the character's always been blonde-haired, blue-eyed ... and has a white sister Sue Storm (Kate Mara got that role).

Last night at Chi Lin in WeHo ... we asked MBJ what he would say to critics who said things like: "Don't cast a black guy to play a white super hero. It's just not right!" ... and "no no no no no no and nooooooo!!!"

Check out Michael's answer. One thing's for sure ... Black Torch has way more swagger.

Being a privileged white kid is intrinsic to Johnny Storm's character. As is being a full, blood brother to Sue Storm. Being the pretty white girl is intrinsic to *her* character. Regardless, the two being beautiful and looking the same is *also* intrinsic to their characters and stories. If one is black, they both should be. But neither should be.

I rarely see anyone mention the elephant in the room. Casting Jordan is not only actually racists in and of itself, but it is Hollywood-style nepotism at it's best.

There were no auditions. He was chosen because he was "best for the role".

Further, he was chosen, in part, *because* he is black...for a TOKEN black character...which is racist.

The *obvious* token is The Thing...but he is Jewish (which is near zero in terms of being a major part of his character) and a black Jew is just dumb, right?

Or Reed Richards. His race isn't near as intrinsic to the character as Johnny and Sue's race. But there's no way we can have a superhero whose intelligence is his primary character trait be black. Everyone knows black people are athletic, like bling bling, and make louds jokes all the time...they aren't *smart*!

So, Johnny Storm has to be black...because he *acts* like black people. And...we can't have an interracial love story.

Casting Jordan, and only Jordan, as black is absolutely racist. Anyone sensitive to race relations should be outraged.
