Chris Brown

I'm NOT a Prisoner

So Don't Treat Me Like One!

4/1/2014 2:57 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

Chris Brown claims it's outrageous that the U.S. Attorney wants to shackle him and haul him on Con Air from L.A. to Washington D.C. for his assault trial later this month ... because he's NOT a prisoner.

Chris' lawyer, Mark Geragos, was in court today arguing his client should be allowed out of L.A. County Jail in a few weeks so he can fly back on his own to face trial in D.C.

Geragos claims in legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- that to put Chris on a Con Air flight would deprive him of his right to spend necessary time with his lawyer so he can prepare for courtroom battle.

The D.C. case is set for trial April 17, and based on what we know prosecutors have problems with the misdemeanor assault charge.

The L.A. judge is noodling on Geragos' request.

If this kid was smart, which obviously he's not, he would humble himself before the court, plea out all his cases, vanish for about 2 years and reinvent himself .

Oh poor Chris, actually being treated like anyone else on Earth who's a poor woman beating waste of space. We need to collectively excuse his terrible actions and grant him a full immunity for anything past, present, and future. Let's face it, he's not going to stop being a POS any.time.soon.

I say put Geragos on Con Air with Chris Brown. He's a criminal too. He rips off all of his clients. What a lousy lawyer.

oh that mark geragos attended court again today.. gee i guess that cost 20 grand for the appearance
oh that mark geragos had to prepare for court today and all the paper work surely cost another 65grand in addition to that mark geragos attendance/appearance today

oh that mark geragos and fees for all these appearances in court for this for that for this and more of that chris brwn work and study and paper work for chris brown. he eevn got a car valued at 300k given to him as a bonus by chris last year. surely mark geragos's grandchild could retire just off marks one client, chris brown, and never have to work a day in his or her life just becuase chris brown employed mark geragos for years, like half a decade now from the rhianna beating.

Ummmm, newsflash Chris, you ARE a prisoner. If you are in jail, that is exactly what you are. If your attorney needs to spend time with you, he can do it like all the other attorney's do and visit the jail OR fly on Con Air with you. You are NOT some special snowflake.

Maybe the judge will have a set oif balls and deny Geragos's motion. How about this, let Geragos fly on Copn Air with his client. Then they can cahin this animal to the setas and leave tyhem to have an attorney client chat. What a bunch of BS. Geragos can fly to DC and mkeet with his client once his sorry ass is transported by the FEDS>....
