Porn Bill

Proposal To Ban

Shoots Without Condoms in Cali

EXCLUSIVE

California may become a condom-mandated state when it comes to porn ... and the stakes involve hundreds of millions of dollars, AIDS, syphllis, gonorrhea and other STDs.

The California State Assembly has just passed a bill requiring condoms in all porn shoots.  The author, State Assemblyman Isadore Hall, III, tells TMZ ... it's all about workplace safety.  He says STDs are out of control in the porn industry.

Hall cites a UCLA study, which shows 11% of female porn stars who have sex with males who don't wear condoms contracted gonorrhea and 15% tested positive for chlamydia.  We've checked and can't find any documented HIV cases in the straight adult porn industry in the last decade.

Porn honchos tell us ... they are fleeing California.  Vivid Prez Steve Hirsch tells us ... his company currently does not produce movies in L.A. County -- where there's currently a mandatory condom law.  He says the current testing procedures are more than adequate.

One porn exec tells us ... the county has lost around $100 million a year.  Fact is ... we checked with the agency that issues permits for porn shoots.  480 permits were issued in 2012.  After the condom law passed, the number plummeted to 40 in 2013, and so far in 2014 ... only 30.

Assemblyman Hall says the porn companies are full of BS ... he says they can digitally remove condoms from the flicks and says, "There's an app for that."

Hall's bill has gone to the State Senate.

So we gotta ask ...

Another liberal hack telling people how to live. I'm sure there is more things he could be doing with his time for the 64th Assembly District then this crap

Yes, because how could anyone get turned on by porn if the actors aren't disease ridden, with leaking soars? STDs are soo hot. I mean, porn that doesn't require penicillin afterwords, it just isn't real porn.

^Making sure you can all tell that was sarcasm.

"...his company *currently* does not produce movies in L.A. County -- where there's *currently* a mandatory condom law. He says the *current* testing procedures are more than adequate."
Hey guys, could you squeeze the word "current" in there a few more times? Are the kindergartners running the office again today, or is it just the usual 3rd shift flunkies?

This is stupid. First of all, it's unnecessary because there is no STD epidemic in the porn industry. Secondly, all this is going to do is drive the porn industry out of California resulting in the state losing hundreds of millions of dollars of revenue.

Good, let them go to Cali. Colombia. Just stay out of California, where people never ever say "Cali." You guys are really not very smart, are you? You're kinda Kanye smart. And that's not good.

HPV is a real disease that almost all sexually active men and women get at one point. It can cause cervical cancer among other things.... Wrap it up it is not worth it..

TMZ: "We've checked and can't find any do***ented HIV cases in the straight adult porn industry in the last decade."

Which - back in the real world - says that maybe TMZ don't know how to research or find do***ents (quite likely, they get most of their stuff from Kris Kardashian "press releases" as we all know); or data doesn't exist for this (but again, TMZ won't know that, they'll be trying to search for stuff that isn't there) ...

TMZ is just lazy, irresponsible, you have to wonder why they exist at all. Guessing they're replying on at least 50% of the population not caring (and that's a good bet). But they might just be wrong. Certainly looks like it if you have been watching how their "stories"have been dwindling over time.

Won't be a problem if everyone suddenly decides to care about "this obsure rapper who got into a nightclub fight" and "that obscure boxer who got into a night club fight" and "this no-name 'house-wife' who got into a night club fight. No idea when or why TMZ decided to go with all these no-names as "news', but their dwindling viewership will show you the date. Just won't explain why (I'm guessing no capital to invest; either that, or stupid management).
