Lil Wayne's Miami Mansion Gunshots Reported ... But Cops Give the 'All Clear'

Breaking News

0311-police-dogs-cbsMiami Beach Police responded Wednesday afternoon to the home of Lil Wayne after getting a call saying four people inside had been shot … but it turned out to be a case of "swatting."

Police took the incident seriously, clearing the area outside the home before making their way inside to determine it was all a hoax.

It's the second time police went to the home in less than two weeks. They previously went out to check on a suspicious person who had been lurking outside the home.

And Wayne posted a photo of him in the recording studio, that also seemed to double as a message to whoever prank called him. He also tweeted, "Prank kall mane."
