Meagan Good Transgender Playmate Will Save Lives

10/20/2017 8:03 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Playboy Playmate Ines Rau represents a cultural shift in America as far as Meagan Good's concerned, and the new message is ... quit all the hating, it's what God wants.

Meagan was at LAX when we asked about Ines becoming Playboy's first transgender centerfold, and it was all positive for her. In fact, she says Rau's biggest impact will be on the lives of young people struggling with gender identity issues.

Remember, Meagan's married to a preacher. While some religious groups aren't exactly known for tolerance of the LGBTQ community, Meagan is clear ... it's all about love and acceptance.

Hazel-E Sorry I Said All Gays Should Burn But the Bible Says ...

10/19/2017 3:47 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

"Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" star Hazel-E is eating her words, and asking her LGBT fans to forgive her for saying gays should burn in hell.

We spoke to Hazel Thursday ... the day after she went on a homophobic social media rant. Someone accused her BF and fellow 'LHHH' star Rose Burgandy of being gay, and they both went ballistic -- invoking the Bible, and wishing a fiery death on all gays.

Hazel admits it wasn't the brightest thing to do, especially because she relies heavily on the LGBT community's support. She's now backing off the death wish, but she's clinging to the religious part of her rant.

Carson Kressley Gays Are Happy, Healthy & Cute ... Let 'Em Donate Blood!!!

10/6/2017 7:38 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Carson Kressley says gays check every applicable box when it comes to donating blood ... and that's why it's time to change the law restricting them from doing so.

The ex-'Queer Eye' star was in Bev Hills and told us he's proud of his pal, Lance Bass, taking a stand on the issue of gay men donating blood. Carson's on board with Lance's movement, but had a little more to say.

He laid out everything the gay community has to offer blood donation centers ... besides blood. For Carson, changing the FDA regulations will be a serious win-win-win!!!

'RuPaul's Drag Race' Contestant Defies DUI Judge ... I'm Filming in L.A., Baby!!!

10/6/2017 12:40 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

An upcoming "RuPaul's Drag Race" contestant is thumbing his nose at the judge in his DUI case by going to werrrrk in Los Angeles ... TMZ has learned.

Sources tell us Andrew Bryson -- whose drag name is Blair St. Clair -- is currently taping in L.A. as a contestant for season 10 of 'Drag Race.' That's in clear violation of a court order stating he must stay in Indiana following a DUI bust this year.

According to docs, obtained by TMZ, St. Clair was pulled over in March in Fort Wayne, IN and blew a .195 -- more than twice the legal limit! We checked and the judge's order banning his out-of-state travel is still in place.

It's a catch 22 for "Blair" -- winning the show could unlock a showbiz career, but doing the show at all could land his ass in a jail cell. We made a call to VH1, but no word back yet.

Lance Bass Gay Blood Ban Is Simply a 'Big F U' From American Red Cross!!!

10/5/2017 12:20 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Lance Bass is making an impassioned plea to the FDA to end its longstanding restrictions on gay men donating blood ... saying his blood is no different from that of straight donors.

Lance told us it's a travesty gay men can't donate if they've had sex within 12 months -- especially after tragedies like the Las Vegas massacre. He added ... there's clearly a need, and the only possible reason to stick with the policy is to discriminate against the gay community.

He said so with much fewer words though. Two letters to be exact.

Lance says if America won't come to its senses on gun control, maybe it can at least remove the stigma about gay blood. He's not mincing words either, and directly calls out the American Red Cross.

Another singer, Jeffree Star, was at LAX when he echoed Lance's feelings, telling us, saving lives should outweigh bigotry.

Rosie O'Donnell We Have a Gun Crisis!!! Not Talking Gay Blood Ban

10/4/2017 7:23 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Rosie O'Donnell isn't as pissed as Lance Bass about gay men not being able to immediately donate blood after a tragedy -- she says the nation's gun crisis is the bigger issue right now.

We got Rosie Tuesday leaving LAX where she had zero enthusiasm for our photog's effort to follow up on Lance calling out the FDA for its 12-month blood donation ban on sexually active gay men.

She's clear on the history of the blood ban, and while she has compassion for Lance ... Rosie's mind was more focused on a guy being able to shoot 500-plus people with weapons that are far too easy to get.

Sam Smith 13 Reasons Why He Loves His New Man

10/3/2017 10:30 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Sam Smith doesn't need 13 reasons to show PDA with his new dude, but the singer obviously has at least that many ... based on these pics of them kicking it in NYC.

Sam was spotted out with Brandon Flynn, one of the stars of "13 Reasons Why." It's the first time we've seen them in public, but they're already close enough to be kissing and holding hands all over Greenwich Village.

23-year-old Flynn very publicly supported the LGBTQ community on social media a couple weeks ago -- and strongly hinted that he counts himself as a member of the LGBT community.

'Nuff said.

Just saw the "vote no" message in the sky, looming over Sydney. Thank you for raising money and hiring on a plane to write your lack of support amongst the clouds. I hope your hate and lack of understanding fades, just like those words will. Too many of my friends have been kicked out of their homes, kept in the closet, beat up, killed, ridiculed by church and state, institutionalized... and you are scared that if we vote YES, you won't be able to show your hate for Us. Fuck that. We've been scared shitless our whole lives thanks to all the stigmas that surround Us, stigmas that were set in place by the same kind of people who flew that plane over Sydney. We've fought, we've come out bravely even in our fear, and you wrote a message in the sky because you're scared. Equality takes courage, it worries me that too many people in this world lack the balls to stand up for what is right. #fuckhate

Vicki Gunvalson Tamra's Husband Should Come Out IF He's Gay, But I'm Not Saying He Is

9/26/2017 12:56 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

'Real Housewives' star Vicki Gunvalson isn't doing a damn thing to shut down the rumor that's become a big thing on the show ... that Tamra Judge's husband, Eddie, might be gay.

The "OG from the OC" caught some heat this season when Tamra found out Vicki and other cast members were insinuating Eddie had made out with a man years ago. Vicki told us Tamra's got no one to blame but herself for this coming up on the show.

As for her real feelings about Eddie and the rumors -- Vicki had a very interesting/telling answer.

Alexis Arquette David Reminisces 1 Year After Death

9/12/2017 7:23 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Alexis Arquette died a year ago on September 11, and her brother, David Arquette, still gets choked up talking about keeping her memory alive.

We got David Monday night at Bootsy Bellows, where he and his fam were holding a memorial for Alexis ... who died of a heart attack and battled HIV for years.

He talked about launching the Alexis Project to support LGBT communities in L.A. He also told us what he thinks Alexis' legacy will be.

Emotional moment, but Dave did laugh when we asked how Alexis would have wanted the party to go.

Charlamagne Tha God Settles Rolling Stone Transphobic Dispute With NBJC Donation

8/31/2017 3:54 PM PDT

Charlamagne tha God and Rolling Stone have settled their beef in a charitable way ... teaming up to make a donation after the magazine printed a headline falsely accusing him of making transphobic comments.

We're told the money will go to the National Black Justice Coalition. The exact amount is unknown but we're told it's in the thousands.

The 'Breakfast Club' host had fired off a legal letter to RS demanding an apology and retraction after they picked up his July interview with comedian, Lil Duval. Duval had made headlines by alluding that he'd kill a transgender woman if he discovered he'd unknowingly slept with one. RS then ran a headline saying Charlamagne made transphobic comments, which Charlamagne called defamatory since he never made such remarks. Rolling Stone later changed the headline.

In a joint statement on Thursday, Charlamagne and Rolling Stone explained: "We hope this gesture brings more attention to the very important issue of equal rights and treatment of the LGBTQ community.”

Richard Simmons to Appeal Ruling That Transgender Misidentification Is NOT Defamation

8/30/2017 1:08 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Richard Simmons will appeal the devastating ruling on his transgender defamation lawsuit, TMZ has learned, and that could establish whether people are allowed to say someone's gay or transgender without fear of lawsuit.

Simmons' lawyer, Neville Johnson, tells TMZ, if the ruling becomes final he will absolutely challenge by filing an appeal. As we reported, Simmons filed a defamation lawsuit against American Media for a National Enquirer story claiming the fitness guru was transitioning to a woman ... which he says is a lie.

The judge in the case just gave a tentative ruling, saying misidentifying someone as transgender does not inherently expose someone to "hatred, contempt or ridicule," adding "the characteristic may be held in contempt by a portion of the population, [but] the court will not validate those prejudices by legally recognizing them."

Johnson scoffs at the logic, telling TMZ, "Transgenders can't joint the Air Force, they can't go to the bathroom" ... in other words, it's ridiculous to say there is not significant scorn and ridicule in the U.S.

Richard Simmons Big Loss in Lawsuit Calling Someone Transgender Isn't Defamatory

8/30/2017 11:54 AM PDT
Breaking News

Richard Simmons just suffered a potentially devastating loss in his lawsuit against American Media -- which claimed he was transitioning to a woman -- because the judge just said calling someone transgender is NOT defamatory.

The National Enquirer published a story saying Simmons had undergone hormone treatment and was in the process of sexual reassignment. Richard says it's a lie and sued for defamation.

The judge just said being misidentified as transgender does not inherently expose someone to "hatred, contempt or ridicule... ."

The judge went on to say, "While, as a practical matter, the characteristic may be held in contempt by a portion of the population, the court will not validate those prejudices by legally recognizing them."

The judge's ruling is "tentative," but in almost all cases this is the way the lawsuit will go. If calling Richard transgender is not defamatory, the lawsuit is on the shakiest of grounds.

Caityln Jenner Doesn't Know Our Issues, Doesn't Try to Learn ... Says Trans Woman

8/28/2017 6:57 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Caitlyn Jenner doesn't know jack about the trans community's most important issues, so she should just shut up ... so claims the woman who got all up in Caitlyn's face.

Ashlee Marie Preston tells us she took Caitlyn to task because she needs a quick education about how her decisions affect the community. As we reported, Ashlee went after Jenner Saturday night at L.A.'s LGBT Center -- unleashing a rant about why she should stop supporting Trump.

For the record, Caitlyn's already sworn off the Prez. Still, Ashlee thinks she's tone-deaf, and needs to bone up on several issues if she wants to rep the community.
