Chris Brown's rep tells TMZ ... the person who stars in a new XXX sex tape being shopped around town is DEFINITELY not Chris Brown ... despite reports to the contrary.
According to MediaTakeOut.com, the mystery seller wants $50k in exchange for footage which allegedly features Brown gettin' dirty with "Basketball Wives" star Draya Michele. MediaTakeOut claims they have seen the footage ... but passed because it was out of their price range.
But Brown's rep tells TMZ ... "The report is absolutely not true."
A source in Brown's camp smells a conspiracy ... sarcastically telling us, "Doesn't it seem like a coincidence that every time Chris has a major performance or event on the horizon, some fake story like this breaks?"
