Britney Spears just showed up in court in downtown L.A. to talk to the judge in her conservatorship case ... and she looks HOT!
Britney is there for a status hearing ... she's shown up several times before to have a chit chat with the judge.
Britney is wearing a very short cream/peach colored dress -- really short, and she looks really good.
There will be no decisions made today -- it's purely for the judge to monitor Britney's progress, both personally and professionally.
1:45 PM PT -- Britney's sitting in court right now. Her fiance Jason Trawick is not present, and Britney is not wearing her engagement ring ... but we're told it's nothing significant. The couple is still engaged.
