Duran Duran -- Bassist Pulls BONEHEAD Move in Front of Cop

Duran Duran rocker John Taylor must have a pair of BRASS COJONES ... 'cause after the guy was pulled over in L.A. yesterday, he BROKE THE LAW AGAIN right in front of the cop ... and it was all caught on tape.

TMZ cameras rolled as Taylor was getting written up for a routine traffic violation (we're told an illegal left turn) ... total bummer.

But after he got the citation, Taylor PEELED OUT ... blowing right through a stop sign ... just 20 YARDS from the cops!!

But the shocker -- he totally got away with it ... 'cause the cops were still getting in their cruiser when Taylor was speeding away.
