NFL cornerback Antonio Cromartie -- who's reportedly expecting to be released by the Jets this offseason -- made a major release of his own today ... his wife just posted a video of Cromartie nearly crapping his pants.

Cromartie was driving home from lunch with his wife Terricka ... when he felt a warm bubbling in his intestinal region, and demanded she pull the car over at the nearest toilet.

Judging by some pics Antonio posted to Instagram just before the car ride ... it looks like they were eating sushi for lunch.
