Our photog spotted high school senior Aaliyah Taylor walking through Georgetown, where she told us she had no clue the cop was going to throw down moves!

During a confrontation between two groups of teens, a cop approached and told them to disperse. That's when Taylor walked up to the officer and started dancing ... which prompted the dance-off.

The dance is awesome ... hard to pick a winner.
