PGA Legend Gary Player: My Sex Life Is Strong ... At 80 Years Old!!

Gary Player says his club game is still SOLID at 80 years old -- telling TMZ Sports he's still breaking out the wood these days ... WAY MORE OFTEN than you'd think!

Player is celebrating his 80th birthday on Sunday in South Africa -- where he's hosting the Gary Player Invitational to raise money for his charity.

But that's not the only thing he's raising ... 'cause when we asked the golf legend and fitness god if sex is still part of his routine these days he told us:

"You can't live a full life without love. As for my sex life, whatever you THINK it is ... double that."

Boom.

By the way, Player also tells us he does 1,300 sit-ups every day and runs on the treadmill while keeping a pretty strict diet.

"My diet is no bacon, sausage or white bread. I'm not a big meat-eater. I eat avocado, olive oil, nuts and my splurge is a Snickers."
