Gilbert Arenas says he can save the WNBA -- get rid of all the ugly chicks who look like they belong in "Orange is the New Black" ... and swap 'em out for hot chicks in thongs.
Sexist? Very ... but Gilbert doesn't seem to care -- essentially saying the WNBA's biggest problem is that it's overrun with unattractive women.
The ex-NBA superstar posted a video of 2 hot models hoopin' around in thongs and wrote, "NOW this is what america was hoping for when they announced the #WNBA back in 1996... not a bunch of chicks running around looking like,cast members from #orangeisthenewblack."
But wait, there's more ...
Arenas added, "Dont get me wrong, they have few #cutiepies but theres a whole alotta #beanpies running around."
"If Skylar Diggins came out like this, I dont care if she missed every layup ... imma buy season tickets and I dont even know where the f*ck #tulsa is."
And to his critics, Arenas says ... "If u think this is sexist,9 times out of 10 u the ugly one and we didnt pay to come see u play anyway."
