Britney Spears -- HELP!!! I'M STUCK TO A TREE

Britney Spears turned over a new leaf for the New Year ... she had plenty of time to do so because she was stuck to a tree.

Britney was performing her show Saturday night at Planet Hollywood when her harness -- which is supposed to send her soaring over the crowd -- failed, leaving her stranded atop a tree.

This isn't Brit's first mishap at her Las Vegas show. A while back her body-suit came undone.
