Ice Cube thinks he knows what would've help him snag an Oscar nomination for best picture ... a slave.

Cube went on Angie Martinez's Power 105.1 show and blasted the Academy, saying he wasn't about to kiss their ass for affirmation of "Straight Outta Compton."
