Jared Fogle should be nothing but grateful about how his first prison beating went down, 'cause the way Charlamagne Tha God sees it ... Jared got off too easy.
The 'Breakfast Club' co-host was out in NYC when we asked what he thought about the ex-Subway pitchman getting his ass kicked by a fellow inmate -- a 60-year-old who was pissed about all the child molesters in the prison.
Charlamagne's downright gleeful about it, saying it "lets me know old school rules still apply."
His take? Jared should expect daily ass whuppings ... and much, MUCH more.
