Manny Pacquiao Says Filipino Prez Should 'Cool Down'
Manny Pacquiao Filipino Prez Should 'Cool Down' ... We Want U.S. Relations
Manny Pacquiao is calling for the Philippines President to "cool down" when it comes to slamming the United States -- reminding him that most Filipino people WANT a relationship with the U.S.
FYI, President Rodrigo Duterte has been on an anti-U.S. tear lately -- calling Obama a "son of a bitch" back in September and leading the charge for his country to "separate" from America.
In fact, just this week Duterte called for the removal of all U.S. troops and bases from the Philippines.
Enter Manny -- who's a SENATOR in the Philippines but trains, works and lives (part-time) in the U.S.
So, how does he feel about the hostile situation?
"We're not cutting off the relationship with the Philippines and the United States," Manny told TMZ Sports at Wild Card Gym in L.A.
He explained how surveys in the Philippines show most people want a relationship with the U.S. -- and his president needs to "cool down ... and realize everything."
Not into politics? We also asked about a possible Mayweather rematch. Enjoy.
