Regis Philbin's Crushed Over Notre Dame Punishment

Regis Philbin doesn't like when bad things happen to Notre Dame football.

So he REALLY didn't like when we broke the news to him about the NCAA vacating all of ND's wins from the 2012 and 2103 season for academic misconduct.

Reeg didn't know about the punishment when we saw him out in L.A. Tuesday -- but he already feels like it's WAY too harsh.

After the outrage, we asked if he thinks his beloved Fighting Irish can somehow pull out a miracle and beat USC this weekend.
