Anglers off the coast of New Hampshire got dunked by a humpback whale ... when the marine mammal breached and came down hard on their boat, capsizing the vessel.

Ya gotta see the video ... a group of fishing boats are bobbing around on the surface when all of a sudden a whale comes up from the depths, launching into the air and landing on the back of a boat.

The vessel tips over and capsizes ... with two folks onboard jumping into the water as the whale submerges.

More than a dozen sharks in Brazil have tested positive for cocaine -- elevating concerns that the open waters in the area are being contaminated with drugs and affecting wildlife.

A handful of research groups recently published findings after collecting 13 sharpnose sharks from fishermen off the coast of Rio de Janeiro ... and after they cut 'em open and pulled out the insides, reports say their livers and muscle tissue were found to be laced with coke.

We're not just talking about a little white powder here -- according to these researchers, the concentration in their system was incredibly high ... as much as 100 times more than previously recorded data in other marine life.

The situation escalated when the tourist went down to the ground in pain, with police arriving to check on her.

Captain Paul Watson -- an environmental activist and star of the show "Whale Wars" -- has been arrested in Greenland ... and video published to his foundation's X account captures the shocking moment.

His foundation -- the Captain Paul Watson Foundation -- posted video explaining when they landed in Nuuk, Greenland to refuel for their voyage to the Northwest Passage to stop the Japanese whaling ship the Kangei Maru.

However, the foundation says as soon as ship docked, Danish federal police boarded and arrested Watson.

A Georgia woman's recovering after an attack by a group of deadly spiders landed her in the hospital ... and, while she's out of immediate danger, she says she may never be the same.

Jessica Rogue -- a single mom to three daughters just outside Athens, Georgia -- came across several brown recluse spiders while cleaning out a shed in her home ... sweeping away the webs when she says she felt a bite near her eye.

In a terrifying scene like something right out of the film "Jaws" ... multiple people were injured when a shark attacked on July 4th at South Padre Island, TX.

Police were called for an attack on a man who was severely bitten just before noon Thursday ... but in a later statement from Texas Parks & Wildlife Dept., they reported two people were bitten and two more had encountered the shark but were not seriously injured.

While the injured man was initially treated at the beach by firefighters and police ... officials say one of the bite victims was taken to a local hospital, while the other was flown out for further treatment.
