Fights

Talk about messing with the wrong person ... a woman in Southern California nearly picked a fight with one of the baddest women on the planet, UFC star Maycee Barber -- and it's all on video!

TMZ Sports talked to 25-year-old Barber, the 4th ranked flyweight, and YouTuber/social media star Demi Bagby ... where the two athletes recounted the entire crazy incident.

Check out the clip for the full story, and what was going through Barber's mind (like how she'd have to call Dana White were she arrested) ... but the cliff notes go like this!

Ryan Garcia's win over Devin Haney was an instant classic, and boxing great Shawn Porter is already salivating over talks of a rematch ... telling TMZ Sports he thinks the Dream can get revenge the second time around!!

Garcia (24-1) beat Haney (31-1) and shocked a ton of fight fans by winning via majority decision on Saturday ... making it the latter's first professional loss of his career.

Porter gave us some insight into what Haney should do next ... and in the immediate future, he believes it's best the pugilist take a vacation and ignore the critics on social media.

4:37 PM PT -- Bam Margera just posted video to Instagram showing a portion of the attempts he says he made to call 911 for police assistance last week ... recorded before he ended up taking matters into his own hands, fighting off a threatening stranger.

Bam's obviously frustrated at the lack of response in the video, and claims when no cops showed up, the whole neighborhood told him to go handle it ... and clapped when he was done.

Bam Margera recently found himself throwing down with a stranger -- a fist fight captured on camera, but Bam says he was simply protecting himself and friends ... TMZ has learned.

Adrien Broner says Devin Haney needs him now more than ever -- after suffering the first loss of his career on Saturday -- with AB challenging the 31-1 boxer to a fight!

34-year-old Broner, 35-4, made a video addressing 25-year-old Haney after Saturday's fight at Barclays in Brooklyn ... one of the most shocking upsets of the year.

"I know everybody waiting on my reaction, but I'mma just tell the truth," Broner said in an Instagram video.

Spring Break reached rowdy new heights outside Savannah, GA ... as several violent fights broke out, despite increased police presence.

Thousands flocked to Tybee Island this past weekend for the annual Orange Crush gathering ... and it didn't take long for chaos to ensue. Videos from the party weekend show countless intoxicated attendees doing everything from littering to fighting.

Check it out ... a group of women are seen wailing on each other, with one fighter ripping the bathing suit top off another. Few intervene in the brawl ... choosing instead to film the fight on their respective phones.

Ryan Garcia scored a major upset over boxing champion Devin Haney, knocking him on his ass THREE TIMES during the dramatic bout.

Garcia stood toe-to-toe with Haney -- the WBC junior lightweight title holder -- Saturday night at Brooklyn's Barclay's Center. The two went the distance, pulverizing each other for 12 grueling rounds.

In the end, Garcia snagged the majority decision, and, deservedly so, after he repeatedly dropped Haney to the canvas with powerful blows.

Former Dallas Cowboys star Mike Jenkins was involved in a heated confrontation at a Florida bar over the weekend ... video obtained by TMZ Sports shows.

The incident happened at The Kenwood on Sunday night in St. Petersburg ... after Jenkins had apparently become upset with the way one of the establishment's employees had handled his credit card.

A witness tells us the worker had either misplaced or lost Jenkins' plastic -- which agitated the former 2008 NFL Draft first-round pick.

Ryan Garcia is not taking the Devin Haney fight seriously ... and because of that, the 24-1 boxer will suffer the 2nd loss of his career -- at least that's the way fellow star fighter Shakur Stevenson sees it!

Stevenson, 21-0, joined Babcock on the "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs nightly on FS1) ahead of the Haney vs. Garcia fight on Saturday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn ... and we asked Shakur for his thoughts.

"I kinda think [Ryan's] not focused. I don't think that he's really taking the fight serious," Stevenson said.

Andy Ruiz's ex has won her court battle with the star boxer ... TMZ Sports has learned a judge granted her a permanent restraining order earlier this month against the former heavyweight champ.

Julia Lemus had been seeking the order of protection since April 2023 ... after she alleged Ruiz sexually assaulted, abused, and terrorized her throughout their relationship.

In her application for the order, Lemus -- who began seeing Ruiz around 2016 -- said the 34-year-old would often grab and yank her to move her wherever he wanted her to go. She also claimed he would "jokingly" punch her in her arms and legs, leaving her with bruises.

Ryan Garcia's three pounds overweight, but his pockets are certainly lighter on Friday -- the boxing star just shelled out $1.5 MILLION to Devin Haney after fulfilling his weigh-in bet.

Garcia placed the wager during the final press conference for their April 20th fight ... saying he would cough up $500K for every pound he's over the junior welterweight limit of 140.

Haney, (31-0) and Garcia (24-1), shook on it ... and even though Ry looked confident, his team was clearly concerned.

Nate Diaz is being sued by a man in Louisiana who says the MMA legend beat him up and injured him during a street fight in New Orleans last year, TMZ Sports has learned ... a lawsuit Diaz's people believe is literally laughable.

Rodney Petersen, an amateur fighter, filed the lawsuit earlier this week in Orleans Parish ... where he's seeking damages for injuries he claims he sustained during the April 2023 brawl.

"LOL" ... was the response from Zach Rosenfield, Nate's longtime rep, when we reached out for comment.

Ryan Garcia will live up to his King Ry moniker Saturday night in NYC ... 'cause the star boxer commissioned an insane iced-out crown -- with over 15,000 diamonds -- that he plans to wear as he walks to the ring!

TMZ Sports has learned celeb jeweler The Ice Champ is the man behind the royal piece ... making the crown for Garcia's highly anticipated boxing match with rival Devin Haney on Saturday night at Barclay's in Brooklyn.

"He was like 'let's create something where the champ of the boxing world and the champ of the jewelry world connect and make something unique,'" Ice Champ said. "We created a unique crown."

Kaylee Gain is making strides in her recovery -- walking around less than two months after a brutal brawl landed her in a coma -- but, she's still got a ways to go, according to her folks.

Gain -- whose head was slammed repeatedly into the ground by a fellow student in a now-infamous video -- is thankfully doing much better in mid-April, walking with little assistance and even speaking short phrases ... so say her parents in new GoFundMe update.

Her family says Kaylee's still wearing a helmet because her bone flap -- a section of the skull removed to allow access during brain surgery -- is still not intact. They say it will be fixed in a future surgery.
