Lisa Marie Presley Marries in Japan
Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of rock 'n' roll king Elvis Presley, has married guitarist and music producer Michael Lockwood in a ceremony in Kyoto, Japan, her publicist said Thursday.
Presley, 38, and Lockwood exchanged vows in a traditional Japanese ceremony on Jan. 22, spokesman Paul Bloch said.
It was Presley's fourth marriage. She was previously married to Nicolas Cage, Michael Jackson and Danny Keough, who is the father of her two children.
The bride's mother, actress Priscilla Presley, walked her daughter down the aisle and gave her away, Bloch said. Daughter Riley Keough was maid of honor and son Benjamin Keough was a groomsman.
The best man was Presley's first husband, Danny Keough. Also attending the wedding were Lockwood's parents, Vivian and William Lockwood.
Lockwood was Presley's musical director and is listed as executive producer on her 2005 album, "Now What."
Presley lives in the Los Angeles area but Bloch said he didn't know where the couple planned to live.
Secret Celebrity Marriage Proposals
Glenn Close Weds
Glenn Close has married former biotech business executive David Shaw at his seaside estate.
Close, 58, and Shaw, 54, were wed on Friday, according to the Scarborough town clerk's office.
The actress is a five-time Oscar nominee whose films include "Dangerous Liaisons," "Fatal Attraction," "The Natural" and "The Big Chill."
Close has been married twice before -- to Cabot Wade from 1969-71, and to James Marlas from 1984-87. Both marriages ended in divorce.
Shaw is the founder and former head of Idexx Laboratories Inc., a publicly traded biotech company in Westbrook with more than $600 million in annual revenues.
The ceremony took place at Shaw's oceanside home on historic Prout's Neck, The Boston Globe reported.
Brad One Step Closer to Being Dad
In what was the first step towards Brad Pitt becoming the adoptive father of Angelina Jolie's two adopted children, a judge today granted Jolie's requests to change the children's names to Jolie-Pitt.
"The court granted the name change," attorney Evan Spiegel, who represents the actress, told reporters outside court. He did not take questions.
Maddox Chivan is 4-years-old, while Zahara Marley just celebrated her first birthday on Jan. 8. Pitt and Jolie are expecting a child of their own sometime this year.
Pitt is referred to as "the adoptive father-to-be" of each child in court papers filed last month.
Brad and Angelina did not attend the hearing themselves.
Pitt divorced Jennifer Aniston last year after four and a half years of marriage. He has denied that Angelina was behind the cause of the breakup, and for months the couple did not publicly acknowledge their relationship.
For Angelina, marrying Brad would be her third trip down aisle; she is divorced from actors Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.

Sanaa Lathan Denies Fling With Denzel Washington
NEW YORK -- Sanaa Lathan denies she had an affair with Denzel Washington, her co-star in the 2003 thriller "Out of Time," in the February issue of Vibe.
"(The rumor) got started because the movie had a love scene with Denzel, and people took that and translated it to real life," the 34-year-old actress tells the magazine, now on newsstands.
"They said I was pregnant with Denzel's child, and people were calling my mother, saying I'm having his baby. It's frustrating. People are going to talk no matter what."
Washington, 51, has been married to his wife, Pauletta, for 22 years.
A call by The Associated Press to the actor's representative wasn't immediately returned Tuesday.
Lathan stars in the upcoming romantic comedy "Something New."
Washington, who won Oscars for his roles in "Glory" and "Training Day," stars in Spike Lee's new film, "Inside Man."
Pitt's Personality Change
Sources who interact frequently with Brad Pitt tell TMZ that the star has regained his sense of humor and is "fun" to be around, like he was before he married Jennifer Aniston.
For now, Pitt and Angelina Jolie are joyfully sharing the house in Malibu that he bought last year for $9 million. We're told the floors are riddled with kids toys and there are fingerprints on the walls as high as 30 inches from the base. Visitors often see "food all over the floor." Jolie's two kids live with the couple; Brad is in the process of adopting them.
The couple uses the tented tennis court to store toys, motorcycles and gym equipment. One source said it's turned into "a playground for kids."
The prior owner completely renovated the property, but that didn't stop Brad from putting his own touches on the place. A fanatic about home improvement, Brad ripped off the roof and installed crazy-sophisticated lighting. We're told Angelina "couldn't care less" about home improvement because her focus is solely on the kids.
Eminem Remarries Ex-wife in Michigan
Eminem remarried his high school sweetheart Saturday, a month after the superstar rapper announced they were getting back together, his publicist said.
"I can confirm that they were married this evening," said Dennis Dennehy, a spokesman for Eminem's label, Interscope Records.
News helicopters hovered overhead and paparazzi congregated outside Meadow Brook Hall as the rapper born Marshall Bruce Mathers III and Kim Mathers arrived by limousine and were whisked inside the 110-room mansion built for auto baron John Dodge's widow 80 years ago.
"Family and close friends were in attendance, including members of D12, 50 Cent, Obie Trice and members of G-Unit," Dennehy said. He said D12's Proof, whose real name is Deshaun Holton, served as best man.
Dinner was lobster tails and filet mignon, and New York DJ Lord Sear provided the music for the reception, Dennehy said.
The couple is planning a honeymoon later this year, Dennehy said.
Their first marriage ended after two-plus years in October 2001 in an ugly legal fight that included a custody battle over their young daughter.
Eminem, 33, and Kim Mathers, 30, reconciled in late 2004, and he announced in December that the two would get back together.
Kim Mathers applied for a marriage license last week, and Detroit television station WXYZ showed an invitation to "join them as they exchange vows and the celebration of their new life together."
The pair grew up in suburbs along Eight Mile Road, Detroit's northern border.
Celebs Who Can't Commit to Quit
It looks like Eminem has found the woman of his dreams...again. The outspoken rap star has filed an application for a marriage license with the Macomb Country clerk's office in Michigan with his ex-wife -- target of the scathing song 'Kim' on 2001's Marshall Mathers LP. It's true; Eminem is getting remarried to the woman he lyrically fantasized about killing and stuffing in the trunk of a car. Instinctively, you might think the most appropriate wedding gift would be yellow tape and chalk. But more celebrities than you'd think have taken a second trip down the aisle, and some of them have even gone the distance.
Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson were married briefly in 1976, but then decided to give it another shot in 1989, a reunion which lasted until 1996 when their love, following the lead of their careers, died.
Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton went ten years on, (1964-1974), one year off, then one back on (1975-1976). On Liz's matrimonial scorecard, Burton comes in as husbands #5 and #6. A legendary femme fatale, Liz made matrimonial and personal history with Burton as she apparently stole her own husband for a change.
From High Class to Jackass
Nicole Richie and Steve-O definitely seem to be a couple now.
TMZ caught them late last night chowing down at a Taco Bell in Hollywood.
Nicole Richie, chowing down?! Yeah, that's what we said.
Is the endless love of Lionel Richie's life, is his daughter Nicole, best-selling author and social butterfly daughter Nicole, going up in smoke?
TMZ cameras have been seeing less and less of the notorious socialite ever since the break-up of her engagement with DJ AM last month. But now she's clearly having a good time with the clown prince of the LA club scene.
Thank goodness that Taco Bell is keeping Nicole nourished.
Amid the success of her new novel, 'The Truth About Diamonds,' (currently #27 on the New York Times Fiction Bestsellers list), a new and more svelte Richie has kept tongues wagging and tabloids tabbing about the doe-eyed beauty's health state.
Baby on the Way!
Now that the world knows that Angelina Jolie is pregnant with Brad Pitt's baby, rumors are swirling that their next big step is marriage. The two lovebirds appear serious about starting their new life together, and TMZ has learned exclusively that the couple and Angelina's two kids will all move into Pitt's home in one of Hollywood's hottest and hippest neighborhoods (see where Brad lives - watch video).
Jolie has confirmed her pregnancy, which was first reported on PEOPLE magazine's Web site. "Yes, I'm pregnant," the magazine quoted Jolie telling a charity aid worker Monday in the Dominican Republic, where she is filming 'The Good Shepherd' with Matt Damon.
Pitt's publicist has also confirmed the pregnancy to the Associated Press.
'EXTRA': Brad & Angelina Never Called Jen
According to the television show 'EXTRA,' recent reports that Brad Pitt called Jennifer Aniston to tell her about Angelina Jolie's pregnancy prior to the public announcement are false. Aniston's publicist Stephen Huvane tells 'EXTRA,' "All the reports about phone calls between Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie are all made up lies."
The full story will air on the Thursday, January 12th edition of 'EXTRA'.

Angelina's Paper Trail
TMZ has obtained legal documents filed by Angelina Jolie which will bring Brad Pitt one step closer to adopting her two children.
Jolie has already filed adoption papers. Now she has filed legal notice to change the last names of Maddox and Zahara to Jolie-Pitt.
California law requires proposed name changes to be published four successive weeks in a local newspaper. Jolie has published her intention to change the last name of her children in the Daily Commerce. The notice reads: "The Court orders that all persons interested in this matter shall appear before this court at the hearing indicated below to show cause, if any, why the petition for change of name should not be granted."
A hearing on the name change is scheduled for January 19 at the Santa Monica courthouse.
So what's the deal? Will Brad and Angelina get hitched, or are they pulling a Goldie and Kurt? There's no evidence they've filed for a marriage license.

Entertainment 2005: What Might Have Been
It may not have been evident at the time, but when Tom Cruise was leaping up and down on Oprah Winfrey's couch, he was like a piston, churning the wheels of fate.
Had Cruise not chosen to express his love for Katie Holmes on that momentous May day, 2005 might have been very different. Just imagine:
Hurt by Cruise's cold, somber manner on "Oprah," Holmes storms out of the studio and announces that she's leaving the "War of the Worlds" star.
"He could have at least hugged an ottoman," Holmes says. Spurned by the 27-year-old beauty, Cruise undergoes a period of self-examination and gives up Scientology. Devastated over losing its most famous member, the church quickly recruits Russell Crowe.
Enlightenment soothes Crowe's anger, and the notorious phone-tossing incident never happens (although there are reports of the actor flicking a Cheez-It at a hotel bellboy).
His good reputation takes a hit, though, when Crowe (promoting "Cinderella Man") calls "Today" host Matt Lauer "glib" while discussing medication. The word is apparently central to Scientology beliefs - like "sin" is for Catholics.
Crowe's "Cinderella Man" co-star, Renee Zellweger, thrown by the brouhaha, seeks solace not in country star Kenny Chesney, but someone just as surprising. She marries "American Idol" finalist Bo Bice, a decision criticized by Simon Cowell.
The wedding news breaks just as the circulatory dating of Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn hits full stride. It becomes too much for tabloid editors, who begin referring to them as Brangelinastonaughn.
The partner-swapping also elicits fierce debate over whether each relationship is based on true love or strategic image-making and movie-selling. The theory - dubbed "intelligent design" - doesn't quite make it to the Supreme Court.
One case that does make it to a courtroom, though, is Anna Nicole Smith's suit against Kanye West alleging that his hit song "Gold Digger" is about her. The trial is dismissed, though, after Smith shows up late to court in her pajamas.
West remains bitter, a feeling intensified by the mishandling of Hurricane Katrina. At a telethon, his co-presenter, Mike Myers, is replaced at the last minute by Michael Jackson. A confused West then proclaims: "George Bush hates white people."
Distraught over his mistake, West joins Dave Chappelle in South Africa.
Paris Hilton never meets her would-be fiance, Paris Latsis. Instead, she becomes engaged to herself. "That's hot," she claims.
The engagement lasts three weeks before splintering amid a dispute over the prenuptial agreement.
Jessica Simpson, witnessing Hilton's breakup drama, opts to stay married to Nick Lachey. Their "Newlyweds" show is renamed "Mildly Satisfied, Sort of Unhappy Married Couple, Remaining Together for Financial Reasons - Like Everyone Else."
By some strange coincidence, Martha Stewart and New York Times reporter Judith Miller end up at the same prison. Stewart brightens up Miller's cell with curtains and Miller helps Stewart with her "Apprentice" catch phrase.
The pair rules the jail, forming the "Valerie Plame Gang" in which each member must get a tattoo reading "VPG for Life: Disclose this!"
In this alternate reality, though, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline remain together. Even history's left-hand turns can't stop true love.
Gene Simmons: Lovers Quarrel
KISS rocker Gene Simmons is famous for his music and his tongue. After the rock star revealed his very long list of sexual conquests on a VH1 special, he was sued by a woman who said that she and Gene had been in involved in an exclusive, monogamous romantic relationship from 1972 through 1975.
The married, fiftyish woman says the documentary made her look like an "unchaste woman," adding she was confronted by family, friends, her husband, her adult son and her elderly dad and was embarrassed, humiliated and dismayed. As we say goodbye to 2005, this lawsuit remains alive! TMZ's Harvey Levin says it's no shocker that rockers will be rockers.

Tori Spelling Engaged (Again)
NEW YORK -- Tori Spelling is engaged, just months after separating from her first husband, People and Us Weekly magazines reported Tuesday.
Actor Dean McDermott, who has been dating the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star for several months, proposed Christmas Eve in Toronto.
"We're so incredibly happy and in love. We cannot wait to start our lives together," the couple said in a joint statement to People. Us Weekly first reported the engagement.
Spelling, 32, and McDermott, 39, met earlier this year while working on the TV movie "Mind Over Murder."
In October, Charlie Shanian filed for divorce from Spelling, a little more than a year after they married.
McDermott filed for divorce from his wife of 12 years, Mary Jo Eustace, in September. They have one child together. Spelling's father is television producer Aaron Spelling.
Laura Dern, Ben Harper Wed in Los Angeles
Laura Dern and her longtime musician boyfriend Ben Harper were married Friday in a sunset ceremony filled with Christmas decorations, the magazine US Weekly reported on its Web site.
Dern, 38, and Harper, 36, tied the knot in front of more than 150 friends and family, according to the magazine.
The couple began dating in 2000 and became engaged in September 2004. They have two children together, son Ellery, 4, and daughter Jaya, 1.
It is the first marriage for Dern, whose film credits include "Rambling Rose," "Jurassic Park" and "Wild at Heart," and the second marriage for Harper, who won a Grammy for pop instrumental performance earlier this year for "11th Commandment."
The ceremony took place at a mansion formerly owned by actor Gregory Peck.
