Tony! Toni! Toné! member D’Wayne Wiggins’ estate was ordered not to distribute any money as the late singer’s family continues to battle in court ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, a judge entered a temporary order prohibiting the estate from sending money from the late singer's estate and trust to any third parties, including in the form of donations to his foundation, scholarships, and other grants to third parties.

But Veleta Savannah -- who is D'Wayne's cousin and claims to be in charge of his trust and estate -- is pushing back in legal docs, claiming D’Wayne was examined by a doctor before his death … and found to be alert and capable of managing his affairs or directing others to do so on his behalf.

Tony! Toni! Toné! singer  D'Wayne Wiggins’ family is involved in a bitter war over his 6-figure estate nearly a year after his death ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, D'Wayne’s daughter, Ilahn Wiggins, claimed the late singer-songwriter and guitarist left behind an estate worth around $700K after his death last year.

Ilahn said she has 2 brothers, and her dad got married to a new wife named Dori Wiggins months before D'Wayne's death.

Tony! Toni! Toné! founding member and guitarist D'Wayne Wiggins has died, per a statement from the longtime R&B band.

The family released a somber statement on Instagram Thursday ... "With broken hearts, we share with you that our beloved D’Wayne passed away this morning surrounded by family and loved ones. Over the past year, he has been privately and courageously battling bladder cancer. Through this fight, he remained committed and present for his family, his music, his fans and his community.

The statement continues ... "D’Wayne’s life was incomparable, and his music and service impacted millions around the world, including in his hometown of Oakland, California. He was a guitarist, producer, composer, philanthropist, mentor and founding member of Tony! Toni! Tone! He was deeply passionate about providing artist development and mentorship to emerging young musicians, helping to shape the early careers of many.

It feels good ... to be married to Tony! Toni! Toné! member D'wayne Wiggins ... but only for a dozen years or so, at least according to his soon-to-be ex-wife.

TMZ has learned ... Michelle Lochin-Wiggins has filed for divorce from her husband of 12 years, and is seeking custody of their two teen boys, ages 17 and 14.

In the docs, Michelle cites irreconcilable differences with the 50-year-old singer, who sang and played guitar for the '90s R&B group.

While her request for full legal and physical custody signals that all's not well, she does plan to offer D'wayne visitation rights to the kids.

Oddly enough, neither is named Tony, Toni or Toné.
