Nelly's legal team is firing back at police after the rapper was arrested at a Missouri casino ... they say he was "targeted by an overzealous, out of line officer."

Nelly's attorney, Scott Rosenblum, tells TMZ ... Nelly had won a jackpot at the Hollywood Casino in St. Charles Wednesday morning when the arresting officer falsely told him they needed to run a background check before giving Nelly his money.

Rosenblum says Nelly knew this claim to be bogus because he had won bigger jackpots at the same casino, and in those instances, he received his winnings without a background check and no issues whatsoever.

Milo Yiannopoulos -- Ye's chief of staff for two years before departing the company earlier this year -- submitted an affidavit to the California Dental Board claiming Ye's dentist, Thomas P. Connelly, provided Kanye with nitrous oxide for recreational use.

Yiannopoulos claims Connelly provided the gas for cash ... taking in upwards of $50K every month, even when the gas led to distressing signs from Ye -- including addiction to the substance.

OceanGate is facing a lawsuit related to their tragic Titan submersible implosion ... with the family of one victim claiming the company's persistent carelessness, recklessness and negligence led to the fatal implosion.

In documents obtained by TMZ, the family of Paul-Henri Nargeolet -- a French explorer who had traveled to see the Titanic wreck dozens of times before the implosion -- filed the lawsuit ... accusing OceanGate of gross negligence.

The family says OceanGate designed and operated Titan outside the norms of the diving community ... and, ultimately they say Paul's life was lost due to the company's gross negligence.

A rep for the Vienna State Police tells TMZ ... two Austrian citizens, including one 19-year-old suspect, were arrested for allegedly planning a terror attack at one of Taylor's shows this weekend. It's not clear what exactly they planned to do.

A bomb squad reportedly found chemical substances after raiding the 19-year-old's home, who was suspected of possessing an explosive device, according to police. Authorities are investigating whether the substances found in the residence could have been used to make a bomb.

Kim just filed legal docs, obtained by TMZ, asking a judge to grant a restraining order against Melvin Jeffery Conley. According to the docs, Kim got a call from Emma, warning her a man who had broken into Emma's house told her about his desire to make contact with Kim and her kids.

Back in May, Conley allegedly broke into Emma's house and used her landline to dial her cell phone. Emma missed the call but saw someone was calling from her landline ... she figured it was a family member so she called back and Conley answered. He claimed Emma gave him permission to stay at her home ... she did not.

In the documents ... the pop star verbally refused a Breathalyzer test 3 times after he was pulled over by rookie cop Michael Arkinson for blowing through a stop sign in Sag Harbor.

Per Arkinson's notes, he followed field procedure, as he observed several signs of JT's alleged intoxication ... including the odor of alcohol, glassy eyes, divided attention, and an unsteady foot. Daily Mail was first to report the news.

A cop in West Virginia allegedly threatened to shoot a woman during a traffic stop ... then he smashed her car window and body-slammed her to the ground ... and it's all on video.

The intense police interaction went down Thursday in Marion County, where Monongah Police Chief Nathan Lanham was captured on video threatening to kill a local woman named Beth Delloma.

In the footage, you see Lanham standing outside the woman's car, pulling on the door handle ... it appears the window is cracked as Lanham is heard shouting, "You roll up that window and I swear to God I'll f****** shoot you."

Jerry Harris has completed one of his requirements as he does time behind bars ... paying off a judgment that it's in the ballpark of tens of thousands.

According to court docs -- obtained by TMZ -- the former "Cheer" star has paid a total of $45,200 ... which breaks down to about $35k to the AVAA crime victims fund and another $10k to the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act fund.

Harris was also ordered to pay more than $135k in restitution to the victims themselves. It's unclear if he's paid that as well at this point.

The singer-songwriter -- who appeared virtually from Belgium Friday -- had his driving privileges temporarily yanked ... with the judge citing the fact he turned down a Breathalyzer test when cops pulled him over in June.

Unclear exactly how long the suspension will remain in place -- presumably, until the case wraps. Worth noting ... this is SOP in NY -- the law requires the DMV to suspend a driver's license if they refuse a breathalyzer for up to a year. So ... this was already coming.

Halle says she and Olivier agreed to co-parenting therapy to resolve issues related to raising their 10-year-old son Maceo -- but, she says he recently decided to delay the therapy sessions until September so he can take the "summer off" ... without first clearing things with her or the therapist.

She says he bailed on July sessions to travel to France and wants to skip August therapy because his brother will be visiting ... but Halle wants the judge to force him to stick to the schedule laid out in their agreement, which includes therapy sessions and other requirements.
